I took these photos of a series of columns in a graphical organizer that I wrote from student comments, for our examination on world history.
All that these photos did is remind me that I give sucky exams.

These windows tell the story of how I got the webpy install going again after installing subversion with webdav. Nothing hard. What happened is I installed subversion & dav. Ubuntu (debian) install scripts made a few changes.
*specifically removed AllowOveride in
-/etc/apache2/sites-enabled/000-default
making .htaccess non visible
Once corrected the test code worked. So did webpy. The reference shown is Graham Dumpletons site on mod_python. Its shows a great way to fault find your way through apache2/mod_python - the prerequisite for webpy.
I can't say enough about debians setup. Its clear & works in a predictable way. This shot shows the url reference for mod_python, the .htaccess, python test script using Idle & the apache setup for the directories.

Todays notes come from an online workshop from VizthinkU on visual notetaking, featuring Austin Kleon, Mike Rohde, and Sunni Brown.
One of my biggest challenges as a graphic recorder was to understand and visualize this conference on black holes given by scientists.
The day ended with a fascinating session on how #dataviz helps us to better “see” black holes. Big thanks to Barthélémy von Haller and Jeremi Niedziela from CERN and Oliver James from DNEG (with me on the photo). They guided us through this wonderful journey from the smallest elements of quantum physics to the black holes and their representation in the Interstellar movie. Magnificent presentation that shows that synergies between science and art can increase our knowledge about the unknown.
