Every fall, first-years find themselves lost all over Stevenson Center, the complex of six (or is it seven?) connected science and engineering buildings at Vanderbilt. Last year, a team of undergrads led by Allanah Jackson set out to design better signage for Stevenson Center as part of a class project. Approach to define integrated thinking.
There are 3 dimensions (perhaps even more):
- far = analysis of process chains
- high = discovery of relations (semantic connections)
- deep = discovery of implications (hidden sub-entities)
Sure, everything is connected.
This system is to define freedom of choice to go on in another direction if you got stuck somewhere in the process...

This is a visualisation of my CV, a graphical view of my data on LinkedIn. I added my practice of drawing, as well as my visual approach in my professional activities, which declined when I started my professional career (and with the first years of marriage ;-)
