TypeTogether was entrusted to develop QlikView Sans, a custom four-style typeface for the software company QlikTech International, which specialises in web-based applications for self-service data visualisation. The primary goals were to create a typeface that performs well on digital platforms in small pixel sizes, works naturally and effectively with large amounts of data, and unifies the look and feel of Qlik’s products internationally. TypeTogether added carefully chosen humanistic elements to grotesque letter structures to create an exclusive typeface that excels in function, clarity, and has an easygoing tone — QlikView Sans. TypeTogether makes tailored typefaces for organizations all over the world, so please get in touch if you’d like to discuss your organization’s needs for custom typefaces.

The new iTunes 8 visualiser. It's absolutely mesmerising! You can appreciate it more when you see it moving.

LUC’s landscape design forms the setting for the University of Winchester West Downs Campus Teaching Learning & Social Centre.

The proposals which have recently been given full planning permission, create a range of exciting new spaces that include: a courtyard, water garden, arrival plaza, embanked pocket green space with radial steps and an upper terrace. The design responds to the sloping site and allows the building to be partially sunken into the slope minimising its impact while integrating it strongly into the surrounding landscape.

The proposals balance pedestrian activity and anticipated movements with biodiversity enhancement measures across the site. The scheme works with a number of existing trees on site, retention of which is important for the areas overall character and identity. These existing elements are reinforced through additional tree planting focused on the interface to Romsey Road. This planting buffer ensuring a green edge to the site is maintained which also allows for key vistas and views through to the striking building.

This design works to integrate into the existing West Downs site as well as improving connectivity to the University’s King Alfred Campus which lies south of the site.
