A "utility" graph quantifying the relationship between Series and their recording Agencies. This graph shows Agencies ranked by number of Series recorded - showing that very few agencies record to more than a few hundred series, while a very large number of Agencies - around 75% - record to ten or fewer Series.
A old audio visualisation work. I actually use this to choose tracks that work well with the Hoxtron project ( www.play-create.com/id.php?016 ).

Visualisations by Danish cartoonist Jens Hage of some of the strategy discussions that took place at Climate-KIC's annual strategic retreat in 2013.
I've put together a little Shrimp microcontroller circuit (similar to Arduino Uno) to hook up the LED matrix and Bluetooth dongle. Attention data levels are visualised as red LEDs and meditation data levels as green LEDs.
De beoogde windturbine:
Merk: Vestas V90
rotordiameter 90 m. met drie rotorbladen
toerental tussen de ca. 8,6 en 18,4 tpm.
rotoras 105 m.
Here brightness is mapped to shelf metres occupied (* 10). By comparing with the items graph we can see that large series are not necessarily the most digitised.
Charing Cross Road to Whitehall in London 1910.
In 1910 a travel guide used Birds-Eye Views to illustrate the areas.
CONCEPTS
This data visualisation represents the changes in the amount of Protected Land in Africa. The design is created to show the harsh contrast within the African continent and it’s environment.
Africa is often a believed to be behind in the attempts of protecting it’s environment as many of it’s countries are developing and don’t have the capacity of more developed nations.
For this reason I chose to create a representation that shows the increases in protection zones in Africa. I intend for this piece to give viewers a new perspective on how Africa is coping with the increased civialisation and the destruction of natural habitats.
VISUALISATION
Visually seeing that most countries in Africa are in fact increasing the number of protected areas is a eye-opening fact for many. I feel that it is important that the African continent should not be forgotten or viewed badly in this area because of it’s economic hardship.
BIAS
While the data used and processed was limited by selecting on one main area of concern, creating this bias was done deliberately to enforce the message that there is changes and improvements being made in Africa to help protect it’s culture and environment.
A "utility" graph quantifying the relationship between Series and their recording Agencies. This graph shows Series ranked by number of recording Agencies. It shows that around two thirds of Series have only one recording Agency, and almost all the rest have between two and ten recordings Agencies.
I am planning on analysing the data from my Uber app on my phone from trips I've taken over the past 2 years since coming to uni in Wellington
