LE GIOSTRE DELLA VITA

Sono giostre le sconfitte della vita

sono giostre anche le paure.

Da bambina non sapevo la metafora dei giochi

ignoravo dei miei voli l’altra faccia.

Sei la corsa dei giardini e fuochi spenti- mi dicevano-

che rincorrono affannati gli aquiloni

un bicchiere mezzo pieno e mezzo vuoto

nei frammenti di cristallo opacizzato.

Troppo vento sulla faccia mi spaventa

chiudo gli occhi per un po’ e la giostra già rallenta..

sono ferma... finalmente, sono ferma

piano piano mi riprendo respirando nel profondo

poi decido...non resisto... punto e a capo.

Ricomincia un nuovo giro.

After doing many tutorials and getting stuck midway, I actually did learn a few things.

Incendia has been giving me a lot of issues this past week. Finally was able to produce an

image that didn't come out too bad. Not really crazy about it but as sometimes happen, I may find out that many people like it.

I named this for my good friend Sylvia (sylverdali)who is such a great person willing to help and share. I always wondered how she got that real shiny look plus I have always been inspired by her work. Thank you my friend!

Rientrando da Losanna e arrivato in Ticino, nei pressi di Biasca e precisamente ad Iragna, ho visto questo fantastico arcobaleno.

Here is another photo taken on the River Forth.

This shot shows Inchgarvie Island in the foreground(spot the Cormorants) a small part of the rail bridge support(top right) and the Forth Road Bridge in the distance. Once again I have enhanced the colour of the sky which was a dismal haze.

Knowing we've received blessings of God's favor,

Our hearts will be happy and

we'll never grow old!
