UP's Dupo-to-Terminal Railroad transfer heads up the Eads main from "Q Tower" at East St. Louis, IL, moments before passing under the Route 3 Spur. Tacked on to the rear of the consist are Ferromex SD70ACes 4048 and 4079. Meanwhile, a Terminal Railroad special agent (black p/u) watches the move.

Nice to get some variety every once in a while.

This lovely butterfly came to see us at Easter Sunday. I've watched it about an hour (!) on these yellow flowers... 😊

Red-tailed Hawks like this are not frequent visitors to our neck of the woods.

This is Freddie and squirrel , both visitors, just staring at each other - no barking or agitation! Had to grab my camera quickly for this one ...

.The Visitor

. . . they are here . . just to watch you . . .

Draveur Visitors Centre at Hautes Gorges National Park in Quebec Canada. This beautiful visitor centre serves as the trailhead for hiking, biking, and canoeing adventures in the heart of the Laurentian Mountains.

A succulent plant gets a visitor for a minute or so. didn't think as much of the scene until I converted it to mono (B&W) and let the tones and patterns do their work.

Explored 1 august 2010.

Yesterday Marjolein and I visited Blunder and his family. Even though it was quite a while since our last visit, it just felt like days since that last meeting.

That's what happens with true friendship. You always know that you got a friend.

Their hospitality felt like a warm blanket and they gave us a saturday in Juli we will never forget.

I shot this visitor in their frontgarden with my little Sony. Hope you like it Blunder!

A visitor to my front garden - one of many this year actually!

Preface: I chose to focus on talking to and photographing people I don't know this year as a self help to get over my shyness. That will continue for the remainder of the year but not without an interjection now and then with something non-people related.

While walking my dog I couldn't help but notice the shoes outside this house which spoke a bit to who was there at the time.

It’s still much too frigid the take a walk in nature, so I am adding a revised version of “A croc and its tree “. Please note that Wisconsin has no mountains and extraterrestrial visitors are relatively rare. Photoleap Cloud Wanderer was used to create this image.

This little toad was hopping around by our garage the other night. I grabbed a flashlight and took his picture. He's about 2" long-the picture is about actual size. I love to see toads in the yard- they help control insects!!

For this shot I used a fisheye lens. This enable me to get a shot of the Visitor Information Booth and the have the Brighton Wheel in the background. I was stood on the "Palace Pier" now known as the "Brighton Pier".

Many flowers of Sekkoku (Orchidaceae) bloomed this year.

Although it was a small flower, there were unexpected visitors.

Thank you very much everyone.

Thank you everyone for your visit, favorites and comments.
