Visit Bath:
(visitbath.co.uk/things-to-do/activities)
The city may be well known for relaxing spa breaks, but there are plenty of other exciting things to do in Bath too.
Shop until you drop at the city’s vibrant mixture of independent and established high street retailers; get the adrenaline pumping with a driving experience, horse racing or rugby match or learn to bake, cook or sew at a creative workshop.
If the outdoors is your kind of thing, you can always explore the countryside on a leisurely (or more challenging!) walk or cycle route; soak up the city’s historic atmosphere and beautiful architecture with a sightseeing tour; or make friends with the cheeky monkeys on safari at Longleat.
Whether you’re visiting to enjoy some time on your own, with the family for a fun day out or as a couple looking for a romantic escape, there’s such as wide range of different activities to choose from in Bath you’ll wish you could stay for longer!

If you were wondering what these are ... here is some info from visitbath.co.uk website ...
"One of Britain's most innovative young sculptors, Sophie Ryder returns to Bath with this show. Many will remember the large minotaurs and hares made of bronze and wire that populated the city in 1999. Ten years on, Ryder is less concerned with narratives and focuses instead on states of mind, often expressed in the protective poses her figures adopt, reflecting her concern for global events such as nine eleven. Also featured are giant wire drawings of hands, eyes and mouths. These pieces underscore the humanity of Ryder's work, apparent even in the figures that are half animal and half human. "
The Circus is an example of Georgian architecture in the city of Bath. Divided into three sections, it is of circular shape surrounded by large houses.

VisitBath:
(visitbath.co.uk/things-to-do/pulteney-bridge-p56151)
Pulteney Bridge, together with the Ponte Vecchio in Florence, is one of the world's most beautiful bridges. Like the Ponte Vecchio it is one of a handful of historic bridges in the world with shops built into it.
Built for William Pulteney by Robert Adam, the bridge was an attempt to connect central Bath to land on the other bank of the River Avon and make Pulteney's fortune. In spite of its practical origins it is surely the most romantic bridge in the world, best viewed from Parade Gardens park by the crescent weir.
If you saw the movie "Les Miserables" then you saw this bridge. It's the location for Javert's suicide scene but it's in Bath Somerset not Paris France!!
