(Of course this is just my cat holding his toy mouse. I converted the original colour image to B&W, crushed the blacks and boosted the whites, and then added a strong green tint in the highlights to create a false 'night vision' look.)

I'm a great admirer of creative vision and this artist, working on a large sunset mural with cans of spray paint immediately caught my eye. She was working from a vision in her head - periodically stepping back to check the results. Out of the picture and beside my position, was another stepladder with a camera secured by duct tape. It was set to snap a picture every 60 seconds and would produce a time lapse of the work in progress. I imagine that would make for a cool video.

I was telling a friend about creating this photo where I wanted a model on a rock with a big white ball gown on the beach at dusk.
It's the end of winter here in New Zealand and I was wondering how I could convince someone to model for me knowing that it would be cold.
Lucky me the weather is unpredictable and last night was lovely and warm and just the right conditions to go running around taking photos.
So off we went and here is the result. Fairly close to what I wanted and enough to make me happy.

MADRID VISION, Es el autobus de dos pisos descapotable que hace la visita panorámica por la ciudad , con un recorrido de 35Km. Tiene dos itinerarios diferentes. Madrid histórico donde puedes contemplar el Madrid más antiguo con los edificios mas monumentales de la ciudad, el Madrid de los Austrias.

Madrid Vision is the sightseeing bus that does a tour of the city in 8 languages. They are open-top double-decker buses, with maximum comfort and visibility offering two different routes : Modern Madrid, which shows all the most recent architecture of the city amongst which you can see the famous football stadium Bernabeu - home to Real Madrid.
The second route : Historic/Monumental Madrid - offers views of the cities oldest and, in my opinion, more beautiful buildings. Both routes are inter-connected allowing you to swap and change between them. You are provided with headphones that allow you to listen in your own language to the guided tour of the city.

Durante un par de horas te mueves entre una estrecha garganta formada por rocas, hielo y nieve, en algunos tramos si abres los brazos puedes tocar las paredes enfrentadas.
Subes y notas la adrenalina, notas el frío y notas entre los jadeos del esfuerzo la sonrisa en tus labios, en mi caso soy verdaderamente feliz, palpablemente feliz.
Subes y te encuentras esta Visión que te lo recompensa todo, respiras con todas tus fuerzas intentando que un poco de ese aire se quede en algún recodo de tus pulmones y lo puedas llevar siempre dentro de ti.
