The game is based on the computer-generated animated movie Planet 51, developed by Zed Group’s sister company Ilion Animation Studios. Planet 51 is scheduled for wide cinematic release on November 20th, 2009 in the USA and subsequently in over 170 countries across 5 continents.
Virtual Enterprises International and WISE held the summit in New York from April 4-7, 2011 and was sponsored by New York Life Foundation, Deloitte, HSBC and McGraw-Hill Education. Students competition included the National Business Plan Competition (NBPC) and Global Business Challenge (GBC). The NBPC challenged Virtual Enterprise students from across the country to demonstrate their global business expertise through written business plans and oral presentations. It showcased the best practices, rewarded excellence and allowed high school students to apply sophisticated knowledge and skills attributed to business professionals and college students. 19 teams began the competition with the winner announced on the April 7th at the Trade Fair. The GBC competition tasked students to work in multinational teams to identify the challenges, opportunities and risks involved in a global business by examining a business case styd. After 2.5 hours of analysis and deliberation, teams presented their findings to a plane of judges.

Foro Virtual Continental “Desafíos y Propuestas de los Pueblos Indígenas y Afrodescendientes de América” organizado por la Comisión de Pueblos Indígenas y Afrodescendientes del Parlamento Centroamericano.
Los países miembros del SICA cuentan con una amplia diversidad étnica y cultural en su población, evidencia de ello es que alberga a más de 60 pueblos originarios que representan cerca del 20% de la población total de Centroamérica.
En la Alianza para el Desarrollo Sostenible (ALIDES) se plantea como uno de los principios rectores del SICA el respeto a la pluriculturalidad y la diversidad étnica de la región.
La preservación de esta riqueza demanda la creación de condiciones para que, en un marco de libertad y de oportunidades, todas las expresiones culturales puedan desarrollarse plenamente.
Como parte de los esfuerzos por crear las condiciones para la participación de los pueblos originarios se desarrolla desde la Secretaría General del SICA, con el apoyo del Gran Ducado de Luxemburgo, el Proyecto “Participación Política Regional de Grupos Vulnerables” con el propósito de promover la formación política y la participación de representantes de los pueblos originarios ubicados en los ocho países del SICA.
Trabajan por el fortalecimiento y consolidación del Parlamento Indígena y Afrodescendiente de América, PIAA, y toda otra institucionalidad para generar los mecanismos y comunicación necesaria para acompañar su mandato, tanto en el marco del Sistema de la Integración Centroamericana (SICA) como de la solidaridad entre los pueblos del continente.

That's my brother Daniel with our new nephew Felix Sam! Coming to you live from Auckland New Zealand. It was very odd to have a computer join us at the Thanksgiving table, but it was also great. Danny and Andrea got to be with us while Holly and I read our Thanksgiving/10th anniversary bits. And they were with us ten years ago when we met, too. So a little internet went a long way.

Had a 30 minute flight in the Boeing 737 simulator at Sywell this afternoon. Chose to fly into and out of Innsbruck for a little bit of mountain flying. Was great fun, landing not quite as easy as it looks from the outside!!
