This was so fun. Why is fire in the night so very exciting?? Must do it again. I have lots of ideas :)
I hiked the Virgin River Narrows with this group of friends. The light is amazing but quite low. That's my wife crossing the river, and my daughter turned looking back at us.

Double Queen

With a platform full of passengers now safely aboard the London Euston train, the Virgin dispatcher cuts a lonely figure on platform 5 at Crewe station - well, except for a few folk enjoying a drink at Gourmet’s coffee concession.
The train is a Virgin Pendolino working the 8.47am from Liverpool (1A15). Meanwhile, over on platform 6, a two-car Transport for Wales class 175 works a rather slower but for sure a much longer service - the 5.03am train from Carmarthen to Manchester Piccadilly (1W48). I'm guessing there'll be a few sleepy eyes on that one.

Sunset Over Virgin Utah
I’ve called it a roadkill shooting. You know the shots where you pull off the side of the road. Get out of the car and make a photograph. One of Ansel Adams’ most iconic photos was Moonrise over Hernandez. He noticed the light, slammed on the breaks and got to work. With experience and a prepared mind he created a masterpiece.
Well, here it is… Sunset over Virgin. Sunset happened, I took a shot.

The ptarmigan, In summer, is a mixture of grey, brown and black above with white bellies and wings. In winter, it becomes totally white except for its tail and eye-patch, which remain black. It breeds in the highest mountains of the Highlands of Scotland.

Virgin Trains Pendolino 390 040 is seen at Manchester Piccadilly with the 1535 service to London Euston. The vinyl, applied to both ends only, celebrates the return of Virgin Radio
Virgin Creek Falls, Girdwood Alaska. A small but very pretty 15 ft. waterfall. The 2nd day in Alaska, all it did was rain rain rain. But that did not stop me from doing any hiking.
