The Khmer Rouge tried to exterminate all practitioners of traditional Cambodian dancing.
They failed. This exquisite dance is a segment from "Ho Asked Me to Go", my video of Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos.

The retaining walls of House VIM (most of the walls are still below the surface), forming part of the citadel/palace complex of Troy, Turkey, 27 October 2009. It dates from the Troy VI period 1,700-1,300 BC and was enlarged in the Troy VIIa period 1,300-1,190 BC. Troy was founded on the hill of Hisarlik about 3,000 BC in the Bronze Age but it is not known by whom, the city now being regarded as the centre of a Troja culture. Destroyed at the end of the Bronze Age after the Trojan War c.1184 BC, the city was re-established by Greeks but was then absorbed by the Persian Empire in 387 BC. Alexander the Great then conquered it in 334 BC and it remained Greek until the Romans conquered it in 85 BC and in 20 BC established a new city named Ilium. The rise of Constantinople led to its decline in the Byzantine era and it was finally abandoned c.450 AD. Its site was lost to history and its very existence was thought to be a myth. However, various excavations in the 19th Century found the site and established that the city had been no myth.

Se você mora em apartamento, como eu, olha ai algumas idéias! O bolo e os cupcakes são de uma amiga e os docinhos da mamãe mesmo e o fotografo da vez foi o papai. Espero que gostem!
¿Hace cuanto tiempo que nos vimos por última vez? Tu ibas de paso yo de prisa, fue como un encuentro de viejos amigos, no sentí esa fuerza tuya, ni sentí que el tiempo se detenía, mucho menos que solo éramos tu y yo en este mundo… tan solo fue un encuentro y nada más.
Pero ya no me preocupa que hagas con tu vida, en serio. Antes hubiera matado a quien fuera, robado lo que fuera, incluso retado a Dios por un insignificante beso tuyo. Pero no lo hice, porque en ese tiempo tu eras mi todo, solo que en secreto y tan fuerte era mi amor, que sentía miedo de perderte de decirte cuanto creía amarte, por eso no lo hice.
Después de tantos años tu herida se ha borrado, conozco gente nueva, deje esas viejas amistades que sólo me hicieron daño, estudie una carrera y ahora gano lo que quiero. Pero aun en las noches cuando los recuerdos regresan a la mente atormentada del ermitaño obligado, regresa también tu dulce perfume, tu piel brillante, tu pelo sedoso y tu voz melodiosa, pero solo eso, nada más. Tú no lo lograste, quizás porque ambos no lo queríamos, quizás porque TÚ no lo querías, pero eso no importa mas, estas empezando a mudarte de mi corazón solita, como una palomita que se cansa de las migajas que le lanza un viejo.
Así es que me despido, ojala en otra vida se logre lo que en esta solo yo desee; un amor como nunca a habido. Han pasado muchas mujeres después de ti, ninguna parecida o que logre ese efecto que tanto anhelo, pero seguiré, a veces esperando, a veces luchando por encontrar ese gran amor

Visit to the National Automotive and Truck Museum in Auburn, Indiana on April 29, 2011. The
museum is right behind the ACD Museum and occupies some of the former factory buildings
of the Auburn Automobile Company.
We've all seen Vim trucks around town at some time or other in the past, haven't we? Another
unknown piece of history.
