Met him while cycling. He teaches yoga to about 1,200 kids in Chennai.
He was full of praise for 136.1, which opened nearby recently, saying that you could choose any yoga (asana / meditation) that you were interested in. The teachers are paid very well and the place is very tidy.
His son, Shrihari, is a whiz kid. Venki says that he might be in line for a Nobel and talks profound stuff mixing science and spirituality (there's only the Self, anyway)!
