Here you can see the winter pens where the sheep are held during the season. Outside of winter they are allowed to roam free and graze.

Family farm where we rode horses. Glacier and mountains to the north, the black sand beach and Atlantic behind me to the south.
Roadtrip in Southern Iceland together with Paul. Driving from Reykjavik to Höfn and back with the erupting Eyjafjallajökull almost always present.

Vik is a lovely little town, placed in between high hills that give it a very secluded and cosy feeling.
The black beach of Vík is one of the loveliest ones that are easily reacheble, with a panoramic view of the special rock formation just off the coast. Colonies of artic terns and puffins can be seen at the west end (right side as facing the ocean) of the beach.
