Care and fear, love and worry, hope and happiness, and sometimes sadness and a horrible emptiness, terror and loss... can anyone name all of the emotions someone feels for one they love in just one instant of time?
The small mining town of Bavaria is pursued by the giant Sandworms of Dune.
Here you can see more pictures. This is my build for the Unlikely Match-Up category of Vignweek, where I put together a scene from Mortal Engines, and the most famous monster of all from Frank Herbert's novel Dune.
I hope you like it!
Hoping against hope... to be in time to save his treasures. The hunt is still on... time is running low... nightfall is near.
Here's my entry for the 5th day of Vignweek 2023. The prompt is Treasure Hunt.
I decided to bring my hunt underwater, at the discover of something that we thought was lost for centuries.
I hope the forced perspective works well inside this box.
Here's the tutorial video:

My sixth and final MOC for Vignweek 2023 contest, the prompt for today being "Contrasting Reflections". The buil is inspired by Michel-Ange famous painting.
I chose shades of tan, nougat and brown. I had little time, so the model came out not very cool. But I really like the photo.
Hi! Today I want to show you my second build for Rebellug’s contest Vignweek 2023. The prompt for today was “Color Shading”. The idea was to build something with only one color family and as you can see I chose green color. The build shows us a mythical being, some kind of mighty deity that surely isn’t a creature that human would like to meet…
Here's my entry for the first day of VignWeek 2023. The prompt is Disney 100 and I chose a scene from Big Hero 6, where Hiro visits his brother's university and meets Baymax for the first time.
The vignette sits on a 16x16 base, I'm don't remember from which set I got the printed bricks, while the stickers are from Xtra and Go Brick Me. Baymax is from the Disney 100 cmf.

A rework of my last entry in #vignweek2023 inspired by Michel-Ange painting.
Thanks to @brick for his photography advices
Hi! Today I want to show you my first build for Rebellug’s Vignweek 2023 contest. Today’s prompt was Disney. I hope you like my creation which shows you Pinocchio on his way to school and cricket watching him carefully.
Built for day 2 of Vignweek 2023, I was challenged to build a MOC using only colors in one family. Unlike SJ, black and white were not available to all. I went with brown/tan family and created a Wild West store. Not my best work but at least I got something!
Here is my entry for day 3 of Vignweek 2023.
Theme is Unlikely Match-up.
We are in 4268 AD, a human colony settled on Mars and managed to develop a small town. Everything went very well until this experience... On leaving Earth, a team of botanists took away sand to grow marine plants but after an incident during an experiment, the sand mutated. He found himself endowed with an intelligence and now wishes to spread on Mars by ravaging everything in his path. A fierce struggle began between the sandcastle and the Marsian colony.

An open book invites us to dive into the Disney universe and to remember our childhood. Walk through the forest to visit the Snow White House, sail the seas aboard the Flying Dutchman, climb to the top of the Raiponse Tower or explore Maleficent’s castle.
My third entry for vignweek 2023 : Unlikely Match Up.
I represented Vador and Dumbledore doing a contest to find out who is the strongest.
Here's my entry for the second day of VignWeek 2023. The prompt is Color shading and I chose shades of green.
I started from a 16x16 base a extend it with an irregular border. I used some technic parts for the temple looking structure, The Hulk arms for the rocks around the little waterfall, a crocodile tale for the plant on the left and frogs for the legs of the altar. The base is mostly regular green, dark green for the gate, sand green for the stairs and olive green around the waterfall. The minifigure is from the recent Ninjago wave.
This is my second time building a green gradient vignette, the other one was for last year Summer Joust.

Made for the first day of VignWeek 2023. The category was to celebrate 100 Years of Disney. I chose to represent an old Mickey enjoying his retirement after 100 years of work.
Here is my entry for day 4 of Vignweek 2023. The theme is Emotions Unleashed.
A teenager went to the museum but did not expect to see a work that reminds him of someone.
Did you find the teenager’s emotion? If yes, then I respected the theme of the prompt.
Vignweek2023 day two with the prompt “Gradient”
The world can be a dark a scary place that’s difficult to navigate. Strive to leave it brighter than you found it. Psalm 18:28
#vignweek2023 I took the iconic stranger things scene, with eleven putting the demogorgon back into the upside down. I decided to replace the demogorgon with Harry to make this an unlikely mashup!
Here's my last entry for VignWeek 2023. The prompt is Contrasting Reflections. This time I decided to go for some big characters, instead of minifigures.
The vignette sits on a 16x32 base and shows two sides of Mulan. The tree is very rushed and not very stable, but I wanted something more organic to separate the two sides, instead of just a wall. So first and last build of my Vignweek campaign are Disney.
Of course great inspiration for this build are the trophies built by Markus Rollbuhler.

What's more unlikely than a race between Santa and King Tut...
A video about this build will be ready soon...
Built for day one of Rebellug’s annual Vignweek competition. The prompt was “Disney” to celebrate 100 years of the company. This build shows Fantasia Mickey cleaning up the castle packed with references to all of Disney’s properties. Really hope you like this, I’m a huge fan of the result!

Vignweek 2023 is here with the first day’s prompt of Disney 100. Big Hero Six is one of my favorite movies so it was a perfect choice. Stretching into new territories with decay and replicating a specific scene from a movie.
For those who don’t know, Vignweek is hosted by Rebellug and is a weeklong competition with a brand new prompt every day and only 24 hours to build each one. This was completed in about 7 hours.
Last day of Vignweek2023 with the prompt Contrasting Reflections. I wasn’t going to build for this as I had already missed two days but had an idea while talking with @paulvillemocs about the theme.
This uses a technique from the 1860’s called Pepper’s Ghost which is an illusion that uses a well lit subject reflecting off of a hidden piece of glass to create the appearance that something is there when it’s not. I used this technique to create the reflection of his younger self in the water. Light source is an older power functions light with the battery box hidden underneath the frame. If you want to learn more about Pepper’s Ghost check out the recent @bricknerdofficial article on the subject! It’s what inspired me to try this technique!
Thanks to @paulvillemocs for spurring me on to build today and thanks to @rebellug for hosting this fantastic contest! Huge respect for those who completed every prompt!
Day 4 of #vignweek2023 - This warrior seems to have gotten lost in the woods, and is all alone. Will he find his way out?
