Taken to check out a query on the Canon SX50 HS camera as recards vignetting on full zoom. This is full mechanical 50x zoom.

Seems fine to me. I never get vignetting with the digital zoom.

VIGNETTE

I've never tried this effect before. Not sure I like it to be honest, I guess it has it's place and I found a very quick and easy way to do it in photoshop which is always a good thing.

Oh and it's nice to be back in Class again too, sorry I've not been around much lately. Am determined to start handing in my assignments on time again :)

My recipe for vignettes

1. Open in photoshop

2. Create a new layer and fill with white, make the layer mode MULTIPLY

3. Go to FILTER -> DISTORT -> ADJUST LENS

4. Use the AMOUNT slider to get the vignette you want

5. That's it. Wash and go ....

This is the guest room- the door leads to the spa where we would dunk the kids at 4:00 or so when it was hot out!

done with the help of aknacer's tutorial

1. Due to the eggs being an off-white colour, I wanted to make the eggs stand out much more so I chose to use Vignette which gives a shadow-blurred border.

2. From the white shadow-blurred borders, it made the eggs and the colour of the eggs pop.
