Another vignette shot. I am still not sure what I am doing with the lighting. Do I need to get down lower to get rid of the bottom shadow. At least this time I didn't get a reflection off the glass. And I only missed 4 days for an 87% shooting rate. I will try to do better next month.
These magnets were made by General Housewares Corp. They came in sets and were considered Fiesta accessories. This is one magnet from the Vignette Collection.
The tray was purchased at a garage sale for $2, the vintage cat was given to me by my grandmother sometime in the early 70s. The candle I got at Marshalls for around $5, the larger vase is the celfie vase, I saw it in the HGTV magazine, which provided a website where I purchased one. If I remember correctly they were rather inexpensive. The small vessel is by Jonathan Adler (purchased on ebay and probably the most expensive thing on the tray).
I didn't even do this on purpose, but it sure came out neat. The Coolpix 7600 is a handy little gadget.
These old black and white photographs were discovered in a trunk in my grandfather's basement after he passed away. Sadly, none of them were labeled and there is no one left who can identify who these people are or when the pictures might have been taken.
This little vignette was a project from Arizona State day several years ago. The armoire was scratch built from a pattern furnished there. The wicker planter is one of my own design filled with my hand made geraniums. The things inside are a combination of things I made and a few purchased items. Note the pet frog in the basket on the floor.
