Eilean Donan Castle, Scotland
A different view of the castle. I'd been warned so I knew that between 9am & 6pm you are not allowed to fly a drone near the castle but I have to commend the owners for not putting a blanket ban on drones. I suspect this way people are more likely to obey the rules and come early or late like I did.
Again I hope to reshoot this in Oct or March and think sun set may be better. It is an epic view though!

A different perspective view altogether of the pools of water.

If you like 'architectural' views, go to Greenwich, London. Here, inside the loggia with its majestic colonnades of the Old Royal Naval College.
We went out for a drive on Moon View Road. What an amazing moon-like landscape! There was heavy cloud cover and unfortunately no moon. But since I had a suitable moon, I decided this would be a good place to add it.
Happy Moon Monday!
View of part of Scarborough Castle from the North side...

Peter and Oleg are with Mummy Marian on holiday in the Teutoburgerwald.
While Marian took a break from hiking, Peter and Oleg borrowed one of her hiking boots and went to see the ruin from above.
OLEG:
It's a good idea Peter to borrow one of Mummy Marian's hiking boots and hang it on a balloon. That way we can get a good look at the ruin and have a great view.
PETER:
I always have good ideas Oleg, you know that.
Look how high we're going!!!!
OLEG:
A wonderful view Peter . When you look down everything looks so small.
I wonder how we land safely again.
PETER:
No problem!
I have a safety pin with me. Poke a small hole in the balloon for a soft landing and poke a big hole for a hard landing.
OLEG: (looking very pale)
Just give me a soft landing Peter
Smile on Saturday: Going up
The truly spectacular Quiraing is an icon of Scotland. Many people visit only the first short section of path. My intention was to walk around it, but heavy rain prevented me from doing so. A real shame, as the site is so spectacular.
From the Mount of Pouilly, we discover a stunning view on the Roche de Solutré (Solutre's ROck) and the small village of Solutré at its foot. In the late afternoon, while the sun was soon to set, the scenery was especially gorgeous.

This opening in the cliffs is known as the North Window. It framed a nice view at the Navajo Nation's Monument Valley Park. We saw this while on a Jeep tour with a delightful Navaho guide.

The Chateau Lake Louise Lakeview Bar stands out as a rather nice place to have a cup of coffee, cocktail, beer or other favorite drink. Wonderful place to hang out after enjoying the many hikes that are around this beloved lake.
Hope you're all doing well during this challenging time. We're doing good here. Be well.
