I used to live in Paris for some months when I was young. And the view from my room was similar to this picture
Just a small part of it, but beautiful.
Note the red ash in front of the conical volcano.
Biskupsfell is close to Sigurdskali at Kverkfjöll, just north of Vatnajökull, Iceland.

Another photo taken from Tunnel View with that redbud bush in the foreground. This one was taken from the overflow parking lot above the road.

View from the grandstands of the Regattastrecke Oberschleißheim. The Regattastrecke Oberschleißheim (Oberschleißheim Regatta Course) is an artificial lake that was build for the 1972 Olympic Games as the rowing and canoe sprint venue.
The lake is 2,230 metres long and 140 metres wide. Since 2018 it is under Denkmalschutz (scheduled monument, historic landmark).
It is still used as training facility for local rowing clubs and for related sports events, e.g the World Rowing Cup 1997 and the 2007 World Rowing Championships.

Hotel window with a view of St Peter in the distance. It is walking distance - if you are in comfortable shoes.
When I was walking in the landscape with my camera to look for birds to photograph, I saw this scene, tree shapes in the foreground framing an almost empty rural view. Couldn't resist to take a picture of the green rural scenery. Funny to see also that there is just one person walking there. Enjoy the landscape!
Scenic view at Badlands National Park - South Dakota. Badlands was designated a national park in 1978.
with the fox more noticeable recently, I wasn't surprised to find this turkey off the ground
thank you for your visits!
I'm excited about today's post as it's a two-part shot. Above is my composition, and then my friend Nate (my official photographer, lol) captured me from above.
Please have a look and leave some comments over at Nate's view of me :-)
The Great Salt Lake - GPS is not the exact spot of the shot.
The view from the top of the Campsie Fells looking NW towards the Trossachs.
On the day in question, the South side of the Fells was foggy and dreich; the North side was foggy and frosty; the top, however, was frosty but ablaze with sunshine in a largely cloudless blue sky .. magical!

Set the alarm for 6:15am. Checked the forecast which didn't look good. Raining and dark outside. I'll have another hour in bed. Wish I didn't. Arrived just a little too late for the spectacular light and rainbows. I did manage to grab this though. Not a great blend. Tricky.
View from the south-eastern pylon of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Photographed yesterday afternoon on my walk across the bridge to attend the Vivid Sydney festival.
