View from the harbor, the "Suomen Joutsen" frigate reflecting on on river surface just after sunset in Turku Finland (Canon EOS 350D)
Penang Hill comprises several hills including Strawberry Hill, Halliburton’s Hill, Flagstaff Hill, Government Hill , Tiger Hill, and Western Hill. The highest point of this range is at Western Hill, with an elevation of 833m (2,723ft )above sea level. The range also serves as the largest water catchment area on the island, and a number of tributaries to major rivers in Penang. One of the many attractions on Penang Hill is the panoramic view, Here is the first of them. I liked the hills and the greenery in the foreground, hence this picture. (Or maybe it's just "Goldau" when it's not a train stop... Anyway...)

The view of the countryside below the Roman Fort at Hardknott Pass. The massive boulder looked like yet another tower overlooking the hilly approaches to the fort. Note the Cumbrian walls stretching all over the hilly countryside. Some of them reach all the way to the peak! Cumbrian farmers must have had a lot of spare time on their hands!

Don't you love the Longfellow Bridge? Red line trains, duck boats (and other boats) and the Boston skyline all at the same time!
The view from my hotel room window when I was in St. Louis.
I took this shot without a tripod. It was hand held. Well, I had the camera pressed between the window and my forehead, and then I stood very, very still.
*I called this my "Licky view" because I posted the first photo of my view from my Blackberry, and I didn't pay attention to auto-completed text when I sent the message. It was supposed to be lucky, but it came out licky. Oops!
