After few days rain, it is finally dry. We decided to take an Autumn walk nearby.
Our target was to bring the Autumn view to home.
Stóri Drangur and Lítli Drangur - collectively called Drangarnir are seen in the distance in this panorama off the shore of Vagar Island in the Faroe Islands.
Back in November last year I was up country on a road trip and caught train 251 at Waiouru heading south, about to duck under State Highway 1, Mount Ruaphehu shimmering in the distance.
The high mid day sun made for tricky shooting but a massage in post production helped yeld a nice image.
Still experimenting with 3 image HDR's.. this is a house.. (ships view).. that over looks the fish quay and Teign Estuary.. best seen on the.. Full Canvas

My new neighbours move in today. I think its going to be a shock having people around again after a year of having no one next door at all. I know they will be putting a fence line up as they have a small dog so we will have our privacy.

A view back across the valley to the mists beyond from above the hamlet of Wash in Derbyshire at the two viaducts which make up the link between chapel en le frith's, chinley south junction and the tracks to the north and east junctions respectively.
A visiting couple enjoys Titian's Frari Assumption (aka The Assumption of Mary) through the doorway of the rood screen at the Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa.
