Flickr just started allowing videos to be uploaded, so I'm experimenting to see what happens...hopefully it works!
This is the hikiyama being pulled down our street. I recorded this for Mason and Avery because I was on the phone with them and could hear the music, but the hikiyama didn't come down our street until later and I wanted them to hear the music I was telling them about.
The guy in the front between the ropes uses blocks to tell the guy on top of the hikiyama which way to steer. The guy on top then tells the guys in the back which direction to turn the big stick that guides the wheel....

I spent a good portion of the afternoon cleaning out an old media tower and assembling our video game collection into one place.
Pictured here are games for the Nintendo GameCube, PS2, PS1, Sega Dreamcast & Saturn, Nintendo DS, and a few random others.
To demonstrate 2 things:
- How good the new iphone video function is
- How much our guinea pigs gabber
I'll have to take a video on one of the pokey, slow escalators in the States and do some kind of side-by-side comparison. Because srsly! They are fast! It throws me off every time. Travellators (moving sidewalks) are disproportionately slow, in my opinion, however.
You at least get the sense for how MANY escalators there are, and that's something.
Also, I don't know if *I* make that "pshhhhhhh" noise near the end, but it's entirely likely I'm adding sound effects.
And why do I end every video with "there you go!"?
Alright folks, reading over the feedback from my previous design, I tweaked it for this version.
This version features a nice large widescreen (~ the same size as an entire iPod, or the size of screen that Apple should just put on the iPod already, yeesh :) ) Again it's a slider, meaning it is nice and sleek without any buttons sticking out in random places. USB connection on the back, also equipped with Bluetooth for sharing, transferring, streaming :) It may look like there are just 4 buttons, but it fact the middle is one long touch sensitive bar which acts as a way to scroll through menus and adjust the volume. It's very thin (check the headphone connector size). Flash memory based of course, I'm not sure of the size of flash based drives, but hopefully it'd be able to fit in a good 20gb+
I think that's it. Feedback? :)

One of a few surviving Video Ezy branches. Just like Blockbuster, they are indeed a disappearing brand!
Crews have been clearing out all the old junk in our rack and installing this new touch-panel controlled system that includes a videoconferencing unit.
