I must have seen hundreds of these being used at my Son's graduation last week. Not a whole lot that happens anymore escapes being captured by some sort of video recording device, cell phones seem to be the most popular.

Crews began drilling shafts April 14, 2009. Rebar cages will be inserted into the shafts, then concrete will be poured into the shafts. The concrete and cages serve as the substructure for columns that will support new bridges in Tacoma's Nalley Valley.

St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson, Wisconsin was struck by lightning in a severe thunderstorm last night. Fire departments from every surrounding city and several counties battled strong winds, rain, and height issues in order to get the fire under control.
It looked like everyone from town gathered nearby to watch, as the steeple on the 1886 church was engulfed in flames. It is difficult to watch something you've grown up with be on fire like this, as so many people have had weddings, funerals, concerts, sacraments, and daily mass here for almost 140 years.
Thank you to all the firefighters, first responders, and Salvation Army for the help.
This is a video display wall we built for Minotaur Mazes. IT has a custom cabinet that holds GPS caching treasures and plays a video feed that teaches people how to go Geocaching.
Every month we go through a planning session at work. We review the work that we planned the month before and have been working on all month and we review the backlog of work to be done relative to priorities for our business. We work on exposing Amazon's fulfillment capabilities to 3rd parties. We have expanded this to the UK and DE and shortly Japan. We have started holding our sessions where our co-worker in Germany can attend via video conference.

Most of you have seen the birthday video on Carl's vimeo account. This was Julia watching it for the first time. So cute. She loved opening her presents and we keep re-reading her cards. Thank you, everyone, for making this all special for Julia.
American children, on the other hand, have been conditioned to expect toys such as Playstation to provide entertainment. Not only is this a costly way to find enjoyment, but this takes away from the social interaction found when kids play actual games together. Children in America are frequently spoiled with all the latest toys, and there are stores in every town geared toward providing entertainment for children, often involving stimulation not found from personal creativity and innovation.
