There are so many factors that contribute to the colors of the sunset over the ocean. My preference is the ones that are softer, in more pastel shades. This moment was captured seconds after the sun no longer was visible using a long exposure with movement. The flocks of birds are a common sight at this glorious hour. It's as if they were gone for the day and now at sunset know it's time to head home. I never tire of this experience, and it's the perfect ending to any day.
Tulips are such a delicate flower, so beautiful but fleeting.
A friend invited me round to her delightful garden, bursting with so many different varieties.
Getting in close to isolate the detail in the stigma, pistols and stamens revealed such intricate detail.
Psalm 92:1 “It is a good and delightful thing to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to Your name, O Most High.”
Like many on Memorial Day weekend I decided to go camping with a buddy. We chose the Sequoia National Forest for three reasons. 1. We wanted to see the HUGE sequoias for the first time. (Childhood Bucket list, check). 2. We wanted to get as far away from people as possible. 3. The darkest sky possible with a southeast facing perch. We drove into the park around 1:00 did some activities along the way as we dwelled further into the forest. We parked our car as deep as we could go and set forth for our final resting spot. We climbed a couple hundred feet in elevation until we were on top of a mountain peak 8000ft up. Great views of the south east sky, we waited for the Milky Way to rise. What we saw tho was more spectacular than either of us signed up for. Here is a Pano that I took to gain a full perspective of what we enjoyed. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you all so much for your vists, faves and comments. Have a great day!

N416PE, a Cirrus SF50 Vision Jet, heading south on taxiway "Bravo" to runway 33 at Toronto Buttonville Municipal Airport in Markham, Ontario.
It departed to Greer, South Carolina, then flew on to is base at Sarasota, Florida.
According to the shipment statistics published by the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA), 265 of these very light jets had been built by June 30, 2021.
These beauties were nestled within dense greenery so their colours look particularly vibrant.
Thank you for your views and comments, they're very much appreciated! Have a great day!

This is a shot which I took at the end of July and I think that these are some lobelias, but I'm not sure. I really like the bright red of these flowers. Hope you like it too!
I've been working a lot and have little time for commenting. I wish you all a Very Merry Christmas. I hope to get more time soon to visit your photostreams. Stay safe and get your booster shot.
Merry Christmas,

I think the Autumn colours at Mt Wilson will be better in a week or two, but I did manage to get some nice colour on my visit on the weekend.
