Looking over some old files tonight & came across the vibrant and atmospheric post sunset shot of Bow Fiddle Rock in Portknockie. If I remember correctly it was the very first night I tried out my 10 stop filter.

This iris is long gone but so beautiful in early morning light, lucky enough to capture its beauty on many levels.

I just realized I’ve been MIA for quite awhile! Had to get treated for back pain, met virtually with sleep therapist, family reunion and met my granddaughter Alice for the first time…how wonderful that was:-)

Last night's sunset over the tranquil Turtle-Flambeau Flowage near Mercer, Wisconsin.

The vibrant red of the male Cardinal is not hard to miss among the branches.
