The Culloden Viaduct was opened in 1889 and spans the valley of the River Nairn. It is the longest masonry viaduct in Scotland at 549 meters (1800 feet) long and includes a total of 29 spans. The viaduct is an impressive sight, made even more memorable when I captured this image of a train passing over the top.

Probably the most elegant viaduct in Britain, the Ouse Valley Viaduct carries the London-Brighton Railyway Line. Construction started in 1839 and opened in 1841.

Nowadays, it's one of the most (if not the most) instagrammed viaducts in the UK.

Ribblehead Viaduct is 440 yards (400 m) long, and 104 feet (32 m) above the valley floor at its highest point.[3] It is made up of twenty-four arches of 45 feet (14 m) span, with foundations 25 feet (7.6 m) deep. The north end of the viaduct is 13 feet (4.0 m) higher in elevation than the south end.[4] 1.5 million bricks were used in the construction and some of the limestone blocks weighed 8 tons each.
