I did some weeks of on-set VFX supervision in Jordan early 2019. The drone ( DJI Inspire ) footage that was shot here would later be added in post to the windows inside an army plane.
This is from a series of photo I am doing with the help oof an AI called Dream by WOMBO. The AI takes as suggestions of Keywords along with a piece of art that I have created from the virtual world Second Life as a reference. In the photo the Key words were "Fairy" and the artwork was called "Fairies" In this one I used the VFX v2 filter as well.
This photo is to commemorate my time working at home on an animated series in 2020.
In the early stages of production, it is essential to be on-set or in the Motion Capture Studio to capture the performance of the actors. After these initial stages of an animated series or film, it is easy to work from home for the remainder of a project.
All of this is made possible by working with a core team of competent responsible people with the same vision, and a good Producer to keep the communication flowing. There are some challenges, but I don't miss rush hour traffic. All the extra hours that you gain, actually leads to increased productivity.
By sharing project recourses in the cloud, and being able to log in to the render farms and servers when needed, finally allows one to work remotely.

‘GOLDEN STAR’
VH-VFX as JQ221 to Queenstown (ZQN/NZQN) from 16R Sydney Airport (SYD/YSSY) in some of the most spectacular lighting I have seen in some time…. Sadly, it didn’t last terribly long!!
Chris invited me to also come out to shoot while he was at Vasquez Rocks.. so I did! He didn't say -what- I should..could.. shoot.. (so that's him). He's done all sorts of commercial and feature work at the park over the years, but today he was just out taking stills.

A widefield DSLR Lens Astrophotography test of the large beautiful Rho Ophiuchi Cloud Complex with the wispy Blue Horsehead Nebula (IC 4592) visible in the top left (using a standard unmodified Nikon D750 and Nikon 105mm Lens without any filters).
The Rho Ophiuchi Cloud Complex:
Rho Ophiuchi is a dark nebula of gas and dust that is located 1° south of the star ρ Ophiuchi of the constellation Ophiuchus (close to the red Supergiant star Antares).
About the Interstellar Cloud Colors:
Fine dust illuminated from the front by starlight produces blue reflection nebulae. The atoms of gaseous clouds that are excited by ultraviolet starlight produce reddish emission nebulae. Back-lit dust clouds block light and appear dark. Antares (a red Super-giant star, and one of the brighter stars in the night sky), lights up the yellow-red dust clouds. Rho Ophiuchi lies at the center of the blue nebula. Interstellar clouds are even more colorful than we can see in visible light, emitting light across a large portion of the electromagnetic spectrum.
About this image:
While I was imaging a closer view of the Cloud Complex with my Telescope, I literally just pointed the D750 at the red Supergiant star Antares, and set the Intervalometer to shoot 3 minute exposures at ISO 1600. I used my Nikkor-Micro 105mm f2.8 Lens (stopped down from f/2.8 to f/4).
