I was originally going to combine this shot with Smashed (version A), but once I resized the background and brought the second image in I kind of liked it better this way. So here they are: two shots instead of one.

My 18th creation for the CD Cover Meme Pool, and also the only design I've ever done multiple versions of. I started off with this version and then I decided that I wanted to see how it would look with the band and the album written inside the mat of the frame. I loved the way both versions looked so I uploaded them both. Enjoy!

For a first attempt, I think it's okay. Really sloppy work, I know, but I was inspired last night to thing outside the box. I went through maybe 8 different pictures, each with around 6 or 7 different variations. This one only had 4, and I liked this one the most.

My photoshop is definitely rusted. Used the kit lens for this one (I think at around 27mm?). Nothing especially done with the camera. Everything was done in photoshop. I didn't want to do the glow, but it was the only way to hide the rusty edges (which didn't look good). The glowing on the shirt was probably the most difficult thing to do for me here.

I also used a lens flare effect. Something I forgot about and I know for a fact, I hadn't used since the first version of CS.

Just thought I would throw the rest of these up here all at once, instead of dragging it out for a week :P
