VoteEasy.org is a voter education tool that was designed to allow the general public to quickly and easily see how closely political candidates align with their views on 12 key issues. It utilizes thousands of hours of research and a vast collection of data assembled by the nonpartisan group, Project Vote Smart. It is the most up-to-date resource for candidate political information, including voting records, interest groups ratings, campaign finances, and personal biography.
The site allows visitors to interact with 3 levels of data, including exploring all candidates running in a particular state, those running in a specific district, and the individual details of each candidate.
As visitors rank the importance of 12 key issues, the lawn signs respond by jumping forward and back to show the similarity of their candidates.
The tool was recently updated to support Presidential candidates.
Los mejores 12 equipos de Sudamérica y las selecciones nacionales de Chile, Argentina, Uruguay y Brasil, darán vida este año a una nueva versión del Miller Lite Seven Viña 2013, torneo internacional de rugby, que durante tres días – 18, 19 y 20 de enero- concitarán el interés de los aficionados a este deporte, como así también de viñamarinos y turistas extranjeros.
Así lo dieron a conocer la alcaldesa Virginia Reginato, el presidente de Old Mackayans, Ignacio Iriarte y el Director Ejecutivo de Demaría Marketing Deportivo, Pablo Demaría, durante la ceremonia de lanzamiento y sorteo de este evento, en el que además estuvieron presentes, la presidenta de la comisión deportes del concejo municipal, Mafalda Reginato, los concejales Macarena Urenda, el gerente de marketing de Comercial Los Peumos, Francisco Espinoza, los capitanes de las selecciones de Rugby 7 de Chile y Brasil, Aldo Cornejo yDaniel Gregg, respectivamente, y el capitán de “Old Macks”, André Campagnaro.
En la oportunidad la jefa comunal viñamarina, destacó el crecimiento que ha experimentado año tras año este torneo, que forma parte de las actividades deportivas oficiales programadas para el verano por el municipio, a través de la Casa del Deporte.
“Para la Municipalidad de Viña del Mar, es motivo de gran alegría apoyar nuevamente el rugby a través del Miller Lite Seven Viña 2013. Este torneo internacional es un panorama deportivo imperdible del verano viñamarino transformándose en toda una tradición. Serán tres días inolvidables donde los asistentes no sólo podrán disfrutar de excelentes partidos, sino que también de los atractivos de nuestra ciudad”, señaló la alcaldesa Reginato.
Por su parte, el director ejecutivo de Demaria Marketing Deportivo, Pablo Demaria, resaltó la jerarquía que al correr de las versiones ha experimentado el Seven viñamarino resaltando la importancia que la Unión Argentina de Rugby le otorga a nuestro torneo “hemos logrado consolidar el Seven de Viña en el circuito de rugby 7 sudamericano. Que una selección top ten como Los Puma quiera estar presente, y con sus mejores hombres, no hace más que ratificar que es un evento de alto nivel”.
ETAPA CLASIFICATORIA
Este viernes 18 de enero, a partir de las 16.00 horas, se disputará la etapa clasificatoria del Miller Lite Seven Viña 2013, donde se decidirá cuáles serán los tres equipos que se sumarán a los otros ya clasificados en el torneo.
La competencia oficial de Selecciones y Clubes, comienza el sábado 19, a las 17.00 horas, destacando a las 18.20 horas el enfrentamiento entre los Cóndores y los Pumas.
La ceremonia de premiación de este torneo está fijada para el domingo 20, a las 23.00 horas.

J'ai profité d'un court moment de soleil samedi après-midi pour faire de la photo dans le parc du boisé St-Sulpice à Montréal.
Les arbres du boisé sont en bien mauvais état, mais un programme de revitalisation des lieux est en cours.

Je venais de passer à travers champs, par un sentier des plus vides, allant d'un pays à un autre, et je vois cette pancarte à droite, alors que je commence à marcher sur la route asphaltée qui mène à Vranov. Est-ce qu'elle me dit de faire attention à un champ de mines? Maintenant que je suis revenu au Canada et que j'ai pu faire quelques fouilles sur le Web, j'ai bien plus l'impression qu'elle dit que je viens de passer à travers le parc national de la rivière Dyji, et que cette zone naturelle est protégée. Mais protégée par quoi? Un champ de mines?

Did I just go through a mine field? Don't you love it when you see a sign when it's too late? I just walked through a desolate string of fields and a small wood, on a run-down path going from Austria to the Czech Republic. Last time I tried that kind of stunt was on the border between East Germany and West Germany shortly after the fall of The Wall. But that was nearly twenty years ago. They've cleared out all the mines by now, right? Now that I've come back to Canada and checked things up on the Web, I think that what the sign probably says is "PROTECTED AREA podyji national park", right? And it's not protected by mines, right?
Here is the official version of "Screams." A minute-long song of me screaming into my mic through the FlangerHand and Big Tick NastyShaper, which are both VST plugins. I use the SaviHost program to run those plugins. I also play the Peavey Raptor Plus through the FlangerHand on a separate occasion. Editting process wasn't too bad, either.
