A joint monitoring and verification team from Juba has confirmed the absence of child soldiers and abducted women at the Sue Cantonment site in Gbudue state.

The team, which comprises of South Sudan People’s Defense Force, the SPLA-IO, the Disarmament and Demobilization and Reintegration commission as well as UN Children’s Agency - UNICEF and the United Nations Mission in South Sudan conducted an inspection and verification mission after reports that opposition forces were involved in forceful recruitment.

The joint team spent four days to conduct series of meetings with SPLA-IO commanders to discuss on whether there are children recruited into the forces or not. The mission also was to verify the allegation from Human right report, which accused SPLA-IO of abducting women in Gbudue state.

In person and via photography, verified and corroborated with the most trustworthy, heavily credentialed, senior, and sane collectors I know--about a half dozen of them!!--that this "last cartouche" (the DAS is NOT a cartouche--no writing or letters!) butt stock is authentic, albeit it's been sanded. Not too many dings.

Before my 2017 cataract surgery, I didn't trust my eyesight any more, and had everyone else examine this stuff via photography AND "first person". My confidence has since returned.

The metal will be removed before I dump it for something I actually need.

Weirdly, this was about the very LAST item I was looking for or wanted when I stumbled across this, and upon cleanup, contacted the network of "usual suspects" because I no longer trust my eyesight on wood. Looking back, I doubt if I've seen two dozen of these. They're fairly close to being the least common of the letter cartouched butt stocks.

Last one I had was on an old D.C.M. rifle, from an estate, and had been surmarked with a DAS (Defense Acceptance Stamp). It, too, was absolutely authentic, and appeared on an all original rifle right in that low 4 million area where one would figure such things might've happened.

Anyway, it's a certainty, puffed up internet liars and windbags to the contrary.

Juba, 29 June 2022: Today, UNMISS and the Joint Verification Monitoring Mechanism (JVMM) held workshop in Juba, which intended to develop a mutual understanding of the challenges faced by both entities and identify measures to enhance cooperation. The workshop's aim was to deliberate on the jointly approved Guidelines for Operational level Coordination of Movement for UNMISS, including ensuring freedom of movement at the local level and to identify further areas for co-operation.

This workshop is a continuation of the first UNMISS-JVMM forum conducted in July last year. The previous workshop helped to establish a positive environment and provided a platform for significant interaction between UNMISS and JVMM to develop a mutual understanding of the challenges faced by both sides and identify measures to enhance cooperation towards achieving peace and stability.

Another disadvantage to the online classroom setting is the credibility of certain classes and the verification of credit by universities and educational institutions. If one were working towards a degree at a university but wanted to take a class online over the summer, it would be in the students best interest to contact the school's admission office to verify the online class credibility and credit transfer ability.

I had the good fortune to sit in on an intriguing summary of EDA gaps/ requirements in the functional verification tools and flows given by Thomas Harms of Infineon. Specifically, Thomas was speaking on behalf of the IEEE Design Technology Committee (DTC) – Study Group, which as you'll see from the paper's citation below comprises power users from a wide spectrum of companies. The good news was that most of the issues identified are already on our docket. The bad news is not all of them are (yet)!

Training Safeguards Inspectors: Hot Cell and Glovebox Training in Georgia

The IAEA verifies that nuclear material remains in peaceful use. To do this, nuclear safeguards inspectors regularly carry out on-site inspections at nuclear facilities around the world. Safeguards inspectors undertake regular training to ensure that they have the knowledge and experience to carry out inspections. Around half an hour drive from Tblisi, Georgia, sits the Andronikashvili Institute of Physics. The IAEA regularly holds week-long training courses for inspectors at the institute on how to apply nuclear safeguards to hot cells and glove boxes.

Service Standard 7.1.9 was enacted on July 1, 2022 and from that date forward all RFS staff and volunteers have been required to be 'fully vaccinated' for Covid-19 and upload proof into the One RFS membership management system (basically a system built on SAP).

Otherwise staff and volunteers are banned from being in attendance around any other staff or volunteers when in RFS uniform meaning no training, no callouts/responses, no social functions, no community engagement events, no strike teams, no interstate or international deployments.

December 2022 system update...

Apparently because there is 'panic' in RFS head office ranks about this year's summer fire season after this years still ongoing disaster around volunteer numbers for the multiple major flooding events this year along (masked as 'revised health advice') the Covid vax mandate for volunteers the RFS put in place on July 1 (but was effectively active since the end of last year when the SES activated it's version) has now been removed by the commissioner despite Service Standard 7.1.9 still being in effect (or is it?)....

My own brigade implemented it's own illegal mandate in November 2021 and has not removed it. So after 21 years volunteering in the RFS I'm considering resigning as it doesn't feel like 'volunteering' any more. Note the RFS still wants staff and volunteers to register their Covid vax status and upload proof of having it, so the mantra hasn't really changed.

This article isn’t about discrediting the capability of any surgeon or any licensed physician. Rather, this article aims to help future patients in getting a head start before their surgery.

Step 1: Choose an American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) Certified Member

Members of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery or ASAPS are board-certified, it means that they have to pass a specialized board exam before they eventually become a member. On top of that, these surgeons also operate out of accredited facilities and follow a strict code of ethics.Choose wisely, and you can be sure that your plastic surgery is safe with quality care and outcomes. If possible, make a list of the surgeons that you would want to administer your surgery.

Step 2: Verify Your Surgeon’s ASAPS Certification via American Board of Physician Specialties

After going through the process of choosing your board certified surgeon, it’s time to tick off your list by verifying your surgeon’s ASAPS certification. The American Board of Physician Specialties will provide you with the ways to learn if your surgeon is, in fact, a ‘certified surgeon’ through their organization.

Step 3: Verify their State Licensure

Sometimes, a surgeon’s medical license is valid by either writing the medical board specifically per state or by visiting a state’s online license verification programs. These will show if the surgeon you choose has had a disciplinary action issued by the state.

Step 4: Verify Legalities after the Technicalities

Like checking if your surgeon has a background in any disciplinary actions, suspensions, and revocations. You can find a good source of information regarding with any disciplinary actions by inquiring with the state medical board or several states’ medical boards. You may also visit www.docinfo.org for more information. Although, fees may apply for this service at that particular website but paying extra for information in exchange for the peace of mind it may give you is worth the deal.

Step 5: Verify for any Malpractice Lawsuits

Going through malpractice might be a scary subject for some. However, checking for malpractice lawsuits is an educated decision you’re making for yourself. This step is also a very tedious and difficult area to research. There are surgeons who are wrongly accused, and there are those shady surgeons who haven’t been sued.

Oh this is such crap. Taken on Friday. I'm going to push myself this week to re-start this project. I need it, desperately.

I'll be going to the coast this weekend, and I'm starting to plan ahead. Lots of imagination will be used.

Unable to verify for sure but this location resembles silver lake mill. The book 'The Rainbow Route an illustrated history' by Robert E. Sloan and Carl A. I am standing on the old Silverton Northern railroad road bed the old siding is in the foreground and the railroad siding crossed a bridge to the right out of this picture.
