It not that I'm opposed to bottom bracket vents. I'm not scared to let some wind and rain blow through my frames. I just didn't like the look of these in particular. You can see the brass through the down tube socket

Taken outside of Spike Island in South Bristol with my Fujifilm Finepix S2000HD.

My first step was to find a rubber grommet that could fit the DD wire through. I proceeded to cut a hole in the vent in a place where the wire would be routed out of sight. The rubber grommet allows for a clean look after shaving out a hole.

Red-vented Bulbul (Pycnonotus cafer) at Ranthambore Fort, Rajasthan, India. It feeds mainly on fruits, flower petals, nectar, insects and the occasional small lizard.

Pycnonotus cafer)-The Red-vented Bulbul is a member of the bulbul family of passerines. It is resident breeder across the Indian Subcontinent, including Sri Lanka extending east to Burma and parts of Tibet.The Red-vented Bulbul is easily identified by its short crest giving the head a squarish appearance. The body is dark brown with a scaly pattern while the head is darker or black. The rump is white while the vent is red. The black tail is tipped in white.
