Jamie is always around Scar, however she gets in trouble also for the things that she does with him.
In Chinese, I think these are called "Gai Lan". We always order these because they are so perfectly crisp! This is how vegetables should be enjoyed.
Dinner last night was so good I can't stop thinking about it. Everything (pizza dough, sauce, salad dressing, …) was made from scratch by Mrs @Formalplay using the produce from our farm co-op box.

My lunch... I sliced up some zucchini and yellow squash and cooked it up with some olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic and a fresh green onion from my garden. I then added some awesome leftover Tri-Tip from a sandwich at the Cat's Restaurant & Tavern in Los Gatos. Served it with some leftover salad and garlic bread and a few leaves of fresh basil. It was very good if I do say so myself!

In Spring I like to hunt around the Vide Greniers (attic sales) that go on in the small villages of the French Pyrenean foothills. I think France is good for finding kitchen props and recently I found this small cast iron pot. I love its size, colour and unusual handle, only I prefer my broad beans raw rather than cooked!

Khlong Toey Fresh Market. Everything seems to be available here, nothing goes to waste. Vegitables, seafood, chicken, eggs, frogs, turtles, eels, spices, etc. It's a market for locals. I didn't see a single foreigner during my walk.
