Vectorial Elevation is an interactive artwork that allows participants to transform the sky over Vancouver, Canada. Using a three-dimensional interface, this web site lets you design huge light sculptures by directing 20 robotic searchlights located around English Bay.
Mosquito sp., Danum Valley, Borneo. Interestingly, despite tramping through wet jungles both day and night, I saw very few mosquitoes on my recent trip, and didn't receive even a single bite. Now leeches, that's another story...

After many long days and nights, I have finished my latest project: Vector! (derpy name, lol)

I did a huge overhaul of one of the first full avis that I made all the way back in 2008. Back then this was female only, and the texture garments were clumsy - to say the very least. As for the attachments - I deleted some, added some, re-textured almost everything that I kept. And so, here it is - vector.tribe 2014:

In Barbados, the Zika Taskforce led by the University of the West Indies (UWI) is working closely with the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA), PAHO and government ministries to pool resources for research, as well as organizing and disseminating information about the virus. The taskforce has also developed and implemented a comprehensive communications strategy to ensure that information about the virus and its effects are shared broadly with the Caribbean public via radio, television, newspapers, the web and social media platforms. There has also been a strong emphasis on community engagement and participation in the efforts to spread information about Zika and how each person can collaborate in the efforts to control and eliminate the Aedes aegypti mosquito at a local level.
During the Olympics, there's an art installation over False Creek called Vectorial Elevation, where people can go onto their website and program their own "light sculptures".
