地図が描かれたバンダナを遮光カーテン代わりに使っています。
車中泊時、この三角窓（Cピラー部分の窓）だけシェードもカーテンも付けていません。
敢えてつけていないのは、外の様子を分かりやすくするため。
この窓から光が降り注げば朝が来たな、と分かりますし、外が騒がしいようなら、この小窓から覗けます。
寝る際はこのようにバンダナをカーテンのように挟み込んでおきます。

寒い。10月中旬。朝の外気温5度。
Snugpak製の寝袋、スリーパーゼロはマイナス7度までOKなようですが、さすがにTシャツな薄着では寒くて目が覚めました。。。
あと、早朝から釣り人が多く、朝6時くらいには外が賑やかになってきたので諦めて起きることに。

I know everybody is waiting for a picture of the eclipse from us, but we actually didn't get a 'share worthy' picture of the eclipse. It was definitely a neat experience as it turned to dusk for about 30 seconds where we were. The moon fully covered the sun in the surreal display millions got to witness. Although the eclipse was awe inspiring, the thing that we are cherishing the most are the new friends we have made during out last month on the road. Our adventure network is spreading it's branches exponentially every single day. We captured this shot eclipse eve as the Milky Way was out in full force in our little forest hideaway we got to share with @morgantashea and @amybuglione. One of our favorite things about this #vanlife is the surprise and excitement we feel when we come to a new place. To say we ventures into Badlands National Park in South Dakota. Had it not been for this lifestyle, I don't know that we would've ever made it to South Dakota at all. . We took a 4 mile hike around the badlands formations and soaked up some sun (and dust!) for the day. What a gorgeous place, and such an interesting landscape in an otherwise prairie state. .
