Vampire's Crypt
Something I've been wanting to build ever since Lego released those candelabra pieces.
This is a slightly smaller variation of the digital set revamp I made of the Lego Studios Vampire Crypt. With a few alterations here and there.
Seeing as I added Rodney Rathbone this could be seen as either an additional prequel or sequel to the Monster fighters sets.
Two out of three de Havilland Vampires based at Västerås flight museum. The one closest to the camera is today painted in a silver livery.
The De Havilland Vampire wasn't on the flight list, so it was quite exciting to hear its engines warm up and for it to perform a wonderful display at the Battle of Britain airshow at IWM Duxford. An aircraft I've always wanted to see in the air.

In the shade of a tree,
You hold me in yours arms,
Your icy skin does not make me of marble,
i like you
This black at broad daylight,
This shade moved closer to us,
To me you stuck,
I hung on to you as if i was not any more going to leave you,
The day passed,
The shade disapperead,
The white of the moon shoved himself,
Your malefic smile appeared,
Your glance had becom black, hard,
You showed me your sharp fangs,
Mrs bit,
And i had no more breath of life,
(de kapouet Porvaa).
The dawn comes, the sun is going to get up, fast i hurry the weight of your corpse emptied of is blood slows down my walking but the night was filled with blood and an eternal life waits for you !Be Brave and likes I as you liked the sun before !

I think Linus is ready for Halloween. You better make sure that the treats are ready before vampire kitty gets angry. :)
This is an older photo on which I applied some Photoshop magic. Linus' fangs are long but not THAT long and I'm really grateful for that.
The DH.88 Comet G-ACSS was a high-speed racing and record-breaking aircraft designed in the 1930s, while the de Havilland Vampire was a fighter jet developed after World War II. The Comet was known for its sleek design and impressive performance in endurance races, while the Vampire was a versatile and widely used jet fighter known for its agility and speed. Both aircraft were significant achievements for de Havilland in their respective eras, showcasing the company's innovation in aviation technology.
This duotoned rose somehow made me think of vampires? A very pale night creature with the red lips drenched in blood, LOL?

I had an idea for a diorama that includes a bunch of these adorable crabs, so I just made use of a previous bird base fiddler crab design I had. This design also naturally comes from a bird base and is of course closed body. Closed body appears to be the trend with crab designs these days.
I could have used box pleating or something to design a crab, but even with a bird base it's still possible to get a good result.
