1. It's value due to the light and colours in the sky

2. The striking part of this photo is the sunset colours along with the car lights

the quality of light and dark

This picture displays value. The contrast of the dark shadow and the light shadow illustrate that there is value in the picture. The tint of the right side is light and the shade of the left side is darker. I find interesting the contrast that the shadows can have against each other.

4. a This project was about creating designs in Adobe Illustrator using the principles and elements of art. It was also useful to help introduce me to the basics of Illustrator because I have never used it before. Using Adobe Illustrator is a lot different then using Photoshop.

b) Before I even began to use Illustrator I had to make different sketches that combined the elements and principles of art. After picking out the sketches that I liked a recreated them in Illustrator.

c) A lot of the designs were made me basically trying to figure out photoshop. One of them was made by accident and the sketch was totally different.

5 a) Figuring out Illustrator in general because it is nothing like photoshop

b) I'm proud that I figured out how to make a complicated design

c)They are very close to what the sketches look like.

d) Illustrates how I can figure things out but I need to learn how to ask for help.
