On Monday, December 7,2009, Intersection’s Power and Values program presented Profits and Prophets, a discussion focused on invoking religion and God to justify business success and bonus excess. Program staff also launched a blog Dec. 16 aimed at structuring a national conversation about the value systems that bind the exercise of power in the world. The blog is managed by Intersections Senior Fellow Sam Simon and examines, proposes and advocates policies that embody ethically responsible norms for decision makers, and holds them accountable to those values.

Let’s just say, hypothetically, that you lately had your eyes opened to the truth about your neighborhood tap water. Which means you not too long ago discovered out that while your tap water is often treated by means of your regional water therapy facility, it truly does not choose up...

On Monday, May 18, 2011, Intersections hosted a unique gathering of corporate, non-profit and faith leaders to address the urgent challenges to leadership at this historic point in time. Almost 100 select leaders explored how leaders can act to foster a more sustainable world infused with greater freedom and compassion.
I chose this photo as an example of value because it clearly demonstrates the difference between the lightness and darkness. On the left side we have a shadow making the colour darker and on the right side we see where it gets full light making it appear lighter.

The decor hanging on my wall shows Value. It can be hung either way, but I chose darkest to lightest. I really like how this depicts the value with shading.

Locked cases usually contain valuables. If something is valuable to you you lock it up.
Students: This is not meant to help you cheat as the "answer" or "Algorithmic Solution" will be worth zero % on an exam. The bulk weight of the score is on how you get to the answer.
There is a 'generalized lesson' at the bottom of this page for those looking to learn.
Questions are extracted from "University Physics with Modern Physics 15th Edition by Hugh Young (Author), Roger Freedman (Author)"
On an exam or hand-written/typed homework:
• Write out the related formulae, equations, theorems and or definitions.
• Identify and neatly list the unknowns and knowns.
• Set up and solve for the desired outcome—i.e., find the algorithmic solution.
• Execute as follows:
Formula and Answer for the Above Question
Formula: (19.3 g/(cm^3 ))((1 kg)/(1000 g)) ((100 cm)/(1 m))^3
Answer: 1.93 x 10^4 kg/m^3
Algorithmic Solution
The density of gold is X g/cm^3. What is this value in kilograms per cubic meter?
Copy and paste
(X g/(cm^3 ))((1 kg)/(1000 g)) ((100 cm)/(1 m))^3
Then plug it into WolframAlpha
= x.xx * 10^4 kg/m^3

Generalized Lesson
To convert the density of gold from grams per cubic centimeter (g/cm³) to kilograms per cubic meter (kg/m³), you can use the following steps:
- Understand the units:
- 1 kilogram (kg) is equivalent to 1,000 grams (g).
- 1 meter (m) is equivalent to 100 centimeters (cm).
- Convert grams to kilograms:
- 1 g = 0.001
