'The most valuable things in a life are a man's memories.
And they are priceless.'

Gdańsk is one of the most valuable monuments in Poland. Almost the entire historic downtown was destroyed during World War II, a significant portion of movable monuments were destroyed or dispersed. After the war was carefully rebuilt.

Gdańsk stanowi jeden z najcenniejszych zespołów zabytkowych w Polsce. Niemal całe historyczne śródmieście zostało zniszczone w czasie II Wojny Światowej, a znaczna część zabytków ruchomych uległa zniszczeniu bądź rozproszeniu. Po wojnie zostało pieczołowicie odbudowane.

There are 9 types of echinacea, three of which are used for medicinal purposes, native to North America. In herbal medicine, the leaves and seeds of this plant are used, but its roots have the most valuable healing properties.
For centuries, Echinacea has endowed people with its extraordinary beauty and healing properties. For its lovely inflorescences, Echinacea is called the "American golden flower" or "evening sun". And today, with its unusually attractive inflorescences, it will decorate any garden, and beekeepers will appreciate it - after all, it is an excellent honey plant. Blooming from mid-summer to mid-autumn, Echinacea flowers attract many butterflies, bees and bumblebees to the garden. As a honey plant, the plant is valuable because it blooms at the end of summer, when the main honey plants have already faded. From one hectare of continuous crops of echinacea, 60-130 kg of honey can be obtained.
Only Echinacea purpurea has been well studied, it is widely used in medicine and is popular in ornamental gardening. The American Indians, knowing about the healing power of echinacea, cultivated it centuries ago and used it as a universal medicine for a variety of diseases.
Echinacea roots and herb contain essential oils, resins, phytosterols, carbohydrates, isobutylamides, fatty oil, and a variety of other substances. 7 groups of biologically active substances have been found in plants, which include polysaccharides, flavonoids, caffeic acid derivatives, essential lipids, alkylamides, vitamins and trace elements.
Experts recommend taking echinacea for any septic conditions, symptoms of blood poisoning, meningitis, bronchitis, tonsillitis, otitis media, burns, boils and purulent ulcers, gangrene, stomatitis, gum disease, candidiasis, psoriasis, eczema, inflammatory processes of the genitourinary system, postlercosis , gonorrhea, herpes, hemorrhoids.
As it turned out, echinacea not only stimulates antiviral and antibacterial immunity, but also directly, like antibiotics, causes the death of bacteria, viruses and some fungi. It is especially effective to use echinacea during epidemics, as it helps the body to cope with viral diseases. Echinacea extracts inhibit the growth and reproduction of streptococcus, staphylococcus, Escherichia coli. The preparations of this plant are effective in the treatment of prostatitis, gynecological disorders, various wound processes (trophic ulcers, osteomyelitis). Juice from fresh inflorescences accelerates blood clotting. In general, the remedy is recognized as non-toxic, but in some cases it is not recommended to take echinacea - during pregnancy and lactation, with tuberculosis, leukemia, multiple sclerosis, collagenosis.

Compiled by C.H.C.A. van Sypesteyn (1857 - 1937), a valuable art collection forms the foundation of the Castle-Museum Sypesteyn in Loosdrecht. In addition to the collection of portraits, furniture, silver and glass objects, clocks and sculptures, there is also a beautiful collection of porcelain. The Loosdrecht porcelain is particularly worth seeing.
The castle gardens
A garden with hedges, moats and decorative wrought-iron gates characterize Sypesteyn Castle. Via paths and bridges, you can walk around the maze and cross the canal and take a leisurely stroll through the orchards, the park and the castle garden. You will discover all sorts of indigenous and exotic trees during your stroll.
Tribute to Van Sypesteyn
The lord of the castle did not build it merely as a place to house his art collection. As the last descendant of the Van Sypesteyn line, he wanted to build the castle to pay tribute to his family. The stunning garden and park were built in the 17th-century style. Surrounded by the Loosdrecht lakes and the Vecht River, the area around the castle is also magnificent.
For further information, visit the website of Castle- Museum Sypesteyn.
Cameron Highlands is the largest tea-growing region in Malaysia - home to vast plantations of this valuable crop that carpet the valleys in a lush sea of bright green. Tea was also one of the precursors to its development as a hill station, before its transformation into a major tourist destination.

Happy Monochrome Bokeh Thursday!
Positive thinking is a valuable tool that can help you overcome obstacles, deal with pain, and reach new goals.
Something that was my fun has become my job: daily I jump from portal to portal through the metaverses helping lost travelers. I am accompanied by my dear skulls that remind me how valuable life is. I hope to find you soon!
Another slide restoration from the 1990s, this one showing the waste from slate mining in Wales.
Today of course, such waste is a valuable asset with many uses.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant :-)

It was a truly fantastic summer evening, which touched me deeply in my heart, because to see the beauties that evening was one of the most valuable gifts for me in summer 2017.
I can not call it any other than a "gift," for what can we do with it alone without the help of the Almighty, the Creator of all things.
This summer grass was still there, though the farmer should have already cut it off. The butterflies were right there, where I stood with my camera and shone in the evening light all their beauty. In addition, I was able to shoot them at the right moment, when the last rays of the sun once again shone the stalks of the meadow in a golden light. What else is it as a great gift, because I contributed nothing, except to accept it with gratitude and hold a small piece of it with my camera.
I thank my Creator in heaven for all His goodness and love every day I get from Him, for every day I can experience here on earth is a gift from heaven.
Dedication:
I would like to thank all my faithful and loving flickr friends for their sympathy and love for my little work. Also all the lovable words from you delight my heart so much. I am so happy about the many dear friends I could get to know through my pictures here. Some of them have even become very close friends for me, a real friendship that carries me.
Prior notice:
I will not present photos here for a while, (between September & October) because I am traveling for a few weeks. I will tell you when this will be. I miss you already now !!!
Pretty much best friends
( It's one of my favorite movies. If you have time, please watch it. It's all about real friendship)
I am glad that I paid so little attention to good advice; had I abided by it I might have been saved from some of my most valuable mistakes.

The martial eagle (Polemaetus bellicosus) is a large eagle native to sub-Saharan Africa. It is the only member of the genus Polemaetus.
A species of the booted eagle subfamily (Aquillinae), it has feathering over its tarsus. One of the largest and most powerful species of booted eagle, it is a fairly opportunistic predator that varies it prey selection between mammals, birds and reptiles. Its hunting technique is unique as it is one of few eagle species known to hunt primarily from a high soar, by stooping on its quarry. An inhabitant of wooded belts of otherwise open savanna, this species has shown a precipitous decline in the last few centuries due to a variety of factors.
The martial eagle is one of the most persecuted bird species in the world. Due to its habit of taking livestock and regionally valuable game, local farmers and game wardens frequently seek to eliminate martial eagles, although the effect of eagles on this prey is almost certainly considerably exaggerated.
Currently, the martial eagle is classified with the status of Vulnerable to extinction by the IUCN.
The immature bird looks quite different from the adult. Immature are paler above, and they have white plumage on the underparts. They have a small crest on the crown. They reach adult plumage at about 7 years. - Wikipedia
The Altiplano, the high plateau is not totally devoid of water; there are several lagoons that provide valuable food for birds.
Life is so valuable, diverse, interesting and so fleeting that there is no time to be not who you are and not who you want to be with.

The Priory church dates back to 1128AD. The buildings and land are owned by Queens College, Oxford and they are responsible for the upkeep.
1250-1270 the Priory was at its zenith – being very
wealthy and well run with many expensive and valuable
possessions. It was much used by King Henry III (1216-
1272). The Queen (Eleanor of Provence) maintained
lodgings at the Priory. Major re-building was carried out
1245-1265 (the current chancel and significant other
building).
Photos of ornaments like this rarely appear on web. They are coming from the jewellery collection of the emperors of the forbidden city in central Beijing, China. The forbidden city, a World Heritage Site of UNESCO, is an imperial palace complex, constructed from 1406 to 1420, consisting of 980 buildings in traditional Chinese palatial architecture, which has influenced cultural developments in East Asia and elsewhere.
The collections of the Palace Museum are based on the Qing imperial collection. Today, there are over a million rare and valuable works of art in the permanent collection of the Palace Museum, including paintings, ceramics, seals, steles, sculptures, inscribed wares, bronze wares, enamel objects, etc.
The illustrated early Chinese jewellery masterpiece is a hairpin decorated mainly by blue kingfisher (Alcyone) feathers, as well as butterfly feathers, red coral and other materials. It was indented for personal adornment of the empress. On the left in the background is visible an outstanding brooch, made also by blue kingfisher feathers.
The photo was taken in the context of the exhibition "Forbidden City: The Private Rooms of Emperor Qianlong.” at Acropolis Museum.
