Antechinus - Marsupial Mouse (Explore)
Antechinus Stuartii - or Brown Marsupial Mouse, or Pouched Mouse, or Antechinus Shrew. This is *NOT* a rodent but a marsupial like a Kangaroo, Wallaby, Koala etc and thus the young are carried in a pouch. Therefore, it is definitely not considered a pest but a valuable Australian animal. A very uncommon siting and only found in a narrow strip on the east coast of NSW.
I am very happy to get a photo of this very elusive cute little guy.
