Welcome June!V2
June is a popular time for weddings, so I have created this still life to celebrate the new brides and grooms.
This is a high-quality photo taken with a Nikon camera. It was taken at a hotel wedding, which was simple and elegant. With white and pink peonies wedding flowers arranged in a bouquet placed on the table. It's very romantic. There are floating candles around it. The warm spring sunlight is shining in. In the style of Pino Daeni.

The Cube Houses by Piet Blom are one of the most famous Rotterdam landmarks.
This is a new version of one of my favourite 'flipped' shots created for this years CIOB 'Art of Building' photo competition. The original version was slightly darker and over saturated so I took the opportunity to tweak it a bit.

From Wikipedia "Cube houses (Dutch: Kubuswoningen) are a set of innovative houses built in Rotterdam and Helmond in the Netherlands, designed by architect Piet Blom and based on the concept of "living as an urban roof": high density housing with sufficient space on the ground level, since its main purpose is to optimise the space inside. Blom tilted the cube of a conventional house 45 degrees, and rested it upon a hexagon-shaped pylon. His design represents a village within a city, where each house represents a tree, and all the houses together, a forest. The central idea of the cube houses around the world is mainly optimizing the space, as a house, to a better distribution of the rooms inside."

Now that the Wolf Moon has passed full there is a thin window at full dark that fortunately is also a time to capture Comet 2020 V2. With the dark sky the stars now pop as they should and makes for a nice scene. The line of stars of similar magnitude with diverse colors with the comet in the middle makes for a nice composition. This image was captured with iTelescope T2 and is 5 x 90 sec stacked with Astropixel Processor and finished with Photoshop.
Although Comet 2022 E3 gets most of the attention now this comet will be visible for months and has some nice future close conjunctions with deep sky objects making for scenic compositions.
Somewhat reminiscent of some of the Calatrava bridges the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam proved a very photogenic subject for these shots taken just after sunrise.

From Wikipedia : "Erasmusbrug (English: "Erasmus Bridge") is a combined cable-stayed and bascule bridge in the centre of Rotterdam, connecting the north and south parts of this city, second largest in the Netherlands. The bridge was named after Desiderius Erasmus, a prominent Christian renaissance humanist also known as Erasmus of Rotterdam.
The 802-metre-long (2,631 ft) bridge across the New Meuse was designed by Ben van Berkel and completed in 1996. The cable-stayed bridge section has a single 139-metre-high (456 ft) asymmetrical pale blue pylon with a prominent horizontal base, earning the bridge its nickname "The Swan".
The southernmost span of the bridge has an 89-metre-long (292 ft) bascule bridge for ships that cannot pass under the bridge. The bascule bridge is the largest and heaviest in Western Europe and has the largest panel of its type in the world."

I didn't like my old cowl, nor is this one satisfactory. It's definitely an improvement though. I'm very well satisfied with the cape and shoulder piece of the cowl. The cowl, shoulder piece, and the cape are all sculpted out of procreate. The hair is modified Lego hair. The vambraces are modified Brickforge.
PLEASE COMMENT IF YOU FAVE!
Per the request of Zazzles1.0 I added more blood and made it look less painted and more splattered.
I did the same with the hands and the claws.
I also added orange and black to the cigarette, for a burning effect, but it's not a big detail.
Thanks!

Some might say I've overworked this fisheye shot of City of London skyscrapers. I'd probably have to agree with them.........
I was aiming for 'dark and foreboding' with this grainy monochrome but I think it's ended up 'noisy and murky'.

From Wikipedia : "The City of London is a city and county within London. It constituted most of London from its settlement by the Romans in the 1st century AD to the Middle Ages, but the agglomeration has since grown far beyond the City's borders. The City is now only a tiny part of the metropolis of London, though it remains a notable part of central London. Administratively, it forms one of the 33 local authority districts of Greater London; however, the City of London is not a London borough, a status reserved for the other 32 districts (including London's only other city, the City of Westminster).
The City of London is widely referred to simply as the City (differentiated from the phrase "the city of London" by capitalising City) and is also colloquially known as the Square Mile, as it is 1.12 sq mi (2.90 km2) in area. Both of these terms are also often used as metonyms for the United Kingdom's trading and financial services industries, which continue a notable history of being largely based in the City. The name London is now ordinarily used for a far wider area than just the City. London most often denotes the sprawling London metropolis, or the 32 London boroughs, in addition to the City of London itself. This wider usage of London is documented as far back as 1888, when the County of London was created."

I've had several requests to update these hairs with my new textures, but I decided to just re-do them completely. Aside from Levinna's beanie and the top part of Sodapop, I scrapped and re-did the entire meshes.
So here's Sodapop & Levinna v2! More volume, more FLUFF, more flowy-ness, and also new textures for Levinna's beanie.
Hope you likey!

Aroha V2 is almost completely new compared to V1. I think black works better with her silver armor than dark blue, so she's an Earth Toa now.

Ostara V2
Created with Midjourney engine.
PP work in Adobe PS Elements 2024 Raw filters.
Jakob Grimm, in his Teutonic Mythology, maintained that "Ostara, Eástre, was goddess of the growing light of spring." Holy water in the form of the dew, or water collected from brooks, was gathered at this time; washing with it was said to restore youth. Beautiful maidens in sheer white were said to seen frolicking in the country side. Also according to Grimm, the white maiden of Osterrode was said to appear with a large batch of keys at her belt, and stride to the brook to collect water on Easter morning. Ostara is usually experienced as a young maiden wreathed in flowers or new greenery, and often dances. She is often joyous, but can just as easily turn suddenly solemn, like the spring weather that can quickly turn to rain. Like Spring itself, she is capricious, innocent and knowing by turns. Hail to the Maiden of Spring, the dawning of the year! Bring freshness into all our lives. The Wheel of the Year is an annual cycle of seasonal festivals, observed by many modern Pagans, consisting of the year's chief solar events (solstices and equinoxes) and the midpoints between them. While names for each festival vary among diverse pagan traditions, syncretic treatments often refer to the four solar events as "quarter days" and the four midpoint events as "cross-quarter days", particularly in Wicca. Differing sects of modern Paganism also vary regarding the precise timing of each celebration, based on distinctions such as lunar phase and geographic hemisphere. Observing the cycle of the seasons has been important to many people, both ancient and modern. Contemporary Pagan festivals that rely on the Wheel are based to varying degrees on folk traditions, regardless of actual historical pagan practices. Among Wiccans, each festival is also referred to as a sabbat, based on the term was passed down from the Middle Ages, when the terminology for Jewish Shabbat was commingled with that of other heretical celebrations. Contemporary conceptions of the Wheel of the Year calendar were largely influenced by mid-20th century British Paganism.

Moving on from my shots of Deidre Rose, here's new version of this flipped Rotterdam shot, re-processed to brighten a bit and correct the overly warm colours. This was recently submitted to the CIOB ' Art of Building' photo competition so fingers crossed........
Over the years I've seen many photos of the Piet Blom Cube Houses in Rotterdam, many of them have been a variation from this view. This is my attempt to create something a little different with a fisheye photo of the iconic Rotterdam Cube Houses.

Sorry, but the photographer in me just had to post this (19) image version. I would not remove the previous post, because of it's meaning. However, this is the photographically correct version, minus the distortion and less smooth light transition. Also, this image had a Global RMS of 2.54, so enough said right!
Please don't feel obligated to re-comment or fave, but thank you for the already generous comments. I will post something new soon.
