Es una galaxia situada en la constelación de la Osa Mayor a 25 millones de años luz. Descubierta por Pierre Méchain el 27 de marzo de 1781 .
Se encuentra cerca de la Vía Láctea y tiene un tamaño el doble que esta.
Tiene un numero elevado de zonas de hidrógeno muy intensas , algunas se pueden ver en la imagen, estas zonas se encuentran registradas como propias en el catalogo NGC (5462, 5461,5458, 5455, 5453, 5460,5449,5451), estas zonas se ven perfectamente en la imagen.
La imagen son 9 horas tomadas con el equipo seestar s50 desde bortle infinito , la escala llega a 9 y en mi casa hay mas, se tomaron 6 horas y media con el filtro de banda estrecha en la banda de Halfa y OIII con presencia de Luna y dos horas y media con el filtro de corte IR/UV

It is a galaxy located in the constellation of Ursa Major, 25 million light years away. Discovered by Pierre Méchain on March 27, 1781.
It is located near the Milky Way and is twice its size.
It has a high number of very intense hydrogen zones, some can be seen in the image, these zones are registered as their own in the NGC catalog (5462, 5461,5458, 5455, 5453, 5460,5449,5451), these zones are perfectly visible in the image.
The image is 9 hours taken with the seestar s50 equipment from infinite bortle, the scale reaches 9 and in my house there are more, 6 and a half hours were taken with the narrow band filter in the Halfa and OIII band and in the presence of the Moon and two and a half hours with the IR/UV cut filter.

New PX100 test film from The Impossible Project. Shot with my SX-70, shielded (sometimes not very carefully) with a PX shade.
This image has been inverted (not turned upside down), but color inverted in post. Not something usually done - but I found the colors pleasing.

Probably Pertusaria (wart lichens) on the left and Frosty Saucer (Ochrolechia africana)) on the right. 365 nm UV light. 19 image focus stack.
