The images are based on Andrew Jacksons vision of the new utopia and his vision of manifest destiny.
A trombone. Rain cancelled the Utopia 10pm show in Birmingham but the show must go on - and it did in the Utopia/Destroyers dressing room in an empty building somewhere in the city.
For "Human rights utopia" I depended mostly on my images taken by Kodak DX 6490. Imagining a coenobium utopia where people live in harmony with nature. the internet image taken from wikipedia as mentioned in the previous visual, was added to subdtly imply the means of communication with friends when not near, as well as a medium to bring us closer sometime in the future again.

10.24.09 HAHAHA OKAY SO THIS THING. For those of you who are unaware, one of my many responsibilities at Utopia was dealing with the semi-precious stones, as in the ones that are often used in spiritual endevours. One day a very respectable looking chap comes in- he's nicely dressed, he's well-spoken, he's running for mayor in a neighboring town, etc. He expresses interest in wholesaling some sort of crystal that he's making himself. I'm a little confused as to how he could be "making" it, I believe he used the words synthesized at one point, but we asked him to bring in a sample.
It may have been the next day, it may have been a week, but he came back in with this. What it is, in case you can't make it out from the picture, is a layer of bb's (as in for a bb gun) under a layer of ALUMINUM FOIL that has been crushed into a ball and sealed with clear resin. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO PROTECT YOU FROM THE STUFF THAT THE GOVERNMENT SPRAYS OUT OF AIRCRAFT, which is what those vapor trails are in the sky. Now, while that is actually a documented occurrence, I hardly see how bb's, aluminum foil, and plastic are going to protect me from the prozak they are spraying into our atmosphere.
It was all I could do to keep from laughing in this guy's face. Interestingly though, my camera refused to focus on this thing no matter how hard I tried. Does it have ~*~powers~*~?!?!?!?
