January 2013 update. I was just here to visit friends and it appears that the touristification of Zihuatanejo's centro touristico is pretty much complete, and any individuality has been banned. I took almost no photos.

I took this in my neighborhood of Mira Mesa Art which is painted on the electrical boxes. All of the boxes are painted by local artist that are trying to beautify our neighborhood. The artist are all from different backgrounds, are at different skill levels and are using different styles of painting.

When I first asked the estate agent about gardens at the property I was interested in viewing I was told that there was a small outbuilding in the courtyard. This turned out to be essentially a cupboard built into the corner of the house with the door on the outside, which is just about large enough to hold a washing machine.
Personally I'm not convinced that this entirely merits the description of "outbuilding"

Prior to sunrise, the mountain was still dark and the light was soft. The hard mast of the utility pole stood in contrast to the feel of the morning, but somehow balanced it.

Vague idea that this was in Illinois. Maybe one of several "OMG we're moving to Texas hurry and take photos of all the 37s you keep seeing around town", which would date it to 1999.
