Latest 2022 Case E recolour of the Matchbox 2016 Ford Interceptor Utility looking mighty fine in its real life licensed Monroeville Police livery.

The Matchbox 2016 Ford Interceptor Utility was a distinct improvement over its ill proportioned predecessor and one which has been given quite the number of different recolours. Many like this brand new release wear real life licensed liveries which does help with realism and credibility, especially at this low price end of the market.
One of a few found recently at Action in France in Power Grabs boxes as part of 2023 Case G.

The real life Kootenai County Sheriff is yet another licensed livery given to the Matchbox Ford Interceptor Utility and possibly explains why I happily picked up several whilst in France recently, all in Power Grabs boxes and all from Action.

iMatch is an excellent PC-based image database for managing both on-line and off-line photos. Like Flickr it uses tags, which are called categories in iMatch.
This image documents how I recently decided to reorganize my images in iMatch, based upon techniques developed and documented by Fazal Majid and widely referenced around the web. I've just extended his ideas a bit in order to make it a bit more flexible.
This example shows how to deal with grandparents and even great-grandparents, as well as tracing the family tree of in-laws.
This method affords a dedicated (leaf node) category for each and every member in the entire family tree, even those that are not themselves leaf nodes in the family tree. This allows one to pick any arbitrary member of the family tree and retrieve all of the images that contains that specific member, without including any pictures that they are not in.
At the same time this method also offers for any (non-terminal) member of the family tree, no matter how remote, the possibility of retrieving in one category selection not only all of their pictures, but also that of the rest of the family tree beyond that particular branch of the tree.

A brand new casting for 2019 Case R and is your typical cost cutted affair which might explain why it hasn't garnered as much interest as maybe it should! Its not a complete lash up, the 2016 Ford Interceptor Utility is exactly the type of vehicle you expect to find in the modern U.S. dominated Matchbox line up but one which is neither particularly exciting or possesses much casting flair. Bought recently from Modelmatic as this and all of this batch completely missed Tesco. Mint and boxed.
This fire-engine-red fire hydrant (with a green nut on top) stands out among the drab winter trees and utility lines that line the Interurban bike trail. I noticed it while walking out of town but kept walking. Coming back, I had to stop and grab this image.
We take the benefits of living in a urban location for granted. Here, there's a bike trail, power, telephone and cable lines as well as a well cared for street to the left. Underground, there's storm and waste sewers. Without these we'd be far worse off in our lifestyle.
A reminder that there's much to be thankful for.

Scratch-built model from around 2004. I'm cleaning out some boxes I haven't looked through in years, and sharing some of my treasures. The roof is made from a soup can, the building is framed and trimmed with real wood, the hinges are hand made and work really well.
