I wanted to share some screen composition elements with you: they will indicate the ideal placement of an action button.
To do so, I propose to work with two real examples, which are screens used in Jean-Claude’s article (dailyburn.com & goodbarry.com).

In addition to the traditional site and the browser-based flight tracking application there was mobile to contend with. PixelMEDIA created a mobile screen, with refined data points, for every possibly application screen.

The idea here was to flip the site around; and have the focus be tracking and status of flights, and allow the corporate site to take a back seat to the true purpose of their business - flight status.

The design of a site has to generate a certain behaviour that will help users to solve the task for which they have come to the site.
Is it possible a design does the exact opposite and makes things more difficult for the user? Let’s look into it…
In order to make our point this week, I will work with an example experts of my team have worked on. This was during a mission together with Internet experts of the insurance company MAAF in France.
