User experience is often about compromises. Sometimes you can't make things easier for users because redoing a certain feature may not fit into a particular budget or timeline. Or, sometimes for security reasons you have to put up hurdles. This is the case with the CAPTCHA, a device meant to stop robots from submitting forms and wreaking havoc. Setting aside the fact that these are often overused, let's at least agree that because the CAPTCHA is designed for a real-life human being, it should be written in human language. This is what the music-streaming service MOG does. They avoid all of the pain that an ordinary CAPTCHA will cause on legitimate users by asking them a simple question. Bonus points for explaining below why they're asking this question. Simple, effective and most-importantly person-friendly.

Here's an example of a good user experience. LinkedIn tells me how long I have to edit my comment after I've contributed to a conversation.
It's good for two reasons:
1. It lets me edit something I've submitted.
2. It tells me that I have this ability.
