Once I got the hang of Edelweiss and realized what you fellow veteran book bloggers knew long before me is that Edelweiss is a huge resource of books. I can research what is going to be published in my favorite Genres at least 4 months ahead. I can then favorite those titles and add them to my dashboard. I can also fully customize my homepage and keep track of my books that I am currently reading, add notes and also download promotional media , if available , for my review posts. I can categorize books that I am anticipating, group titles by tags and shelve books as well. I just never realized all of the features that Edelweiss has to offer.I know that it has taken me awhile, years actually, to learn how to navigate this platform, I just never had the patience I guess or maybe never found it as user friendly as NetGalley.
I really like how the user dashboard is set up :
I can add books that I am currently reading and make notes about the book. So many features that I can use to keep track of books, even if I have not requested the book from Edelweiss.
I would love to hear your thoughts on how you feel about Edelweiss and if you have any tips that I have not yet discovered.
Thanks! cindysbookstacks.com/2020/04/29/why-i-now-love-edelweiss/
