I SWEAR I did not see this face when I took this picture of a cotton boll earlier today when I was on an adventure with Kay. Only when I downloaded this did I see what appears to be another alien face. Considering the last photo I posted looked like one too, maybe they really are among us....since I have now seen two does that mean I am????? The parents have been very busy feeding the five little ones. The babies just about have their eyes open now!
We have a resident woodchuck under our shed and early today I saw the poppa Bluebird dive bombing the woodchuck as it was eating in the lawn. Then later I saw poppa harassing a Blue Jay that was too close to the box for comfort. The Blue Jay left!

After leaving the gym this morning I saw an old homeless man lying under a tree sleeping. In the past I have always thought how sad and then went about my day, but today I felt something drawing me to this stranger! So I didn't just drive by, I stopped and gave him some money. He just said thank you, but it was with tears in his eyes. It just made me stop and think how close most of us are to the same fate!
