The polished silver adds class to the logo. The letter "L" set in script against the dark texture, and pointed upwards makes a high statement. The word "luxury" also indicate the brands are of the finest quality.

Fancy - Old - Impressive

The use of the "coat of arms" idea is attractive to the target audience of a country club - ie, the older, richer community. A coat of arms represents wealth and power. In addition, the fancy font of the CAC adds in to this power and wealth affect. On the other hand, the black and white represent age, as well as a starkness which says that while they have wealth and power, they don't spend it excessively.

Expensive, fancy, gourmet

this logo is very fancy, almost gourmet like. It deffinately seems like the product would be expensive. The lines and the shapes just add to this feeling.
