Upscaled & upgraded to look like a taken-over derelict factory building. Includes Joker's 'Slide of Doom' into light-up acid, 'Runaway Coaster' with moving eyes, 'Fearris Wheel', Harley's 'Maze of Mirrors', 'Bat-Bowling' & Riddler's 'Mis-Fortune Teller'.
This addition to the modified 1x2 Plate family features hollow studs on top and a 3.18 bar centered on the underside, allowing for offsets and inversions in one compact package. Originally this came from a struggle to narrow a microscale ship down to a single stud width without compromising on the structural integrity.

My newest building is inspired by a condo featured in one of my favorite new TV series, Orphan Black, filmed on location in Toronto.
Providence, Rhode Island, October 2023. The Graduate Providence is an upscale hotel that opened in 1922 as the Providence Biltmore Hotel, part of the Bowman-Biltmore Hotels chain.
I really do have a liking for remaking Blacktron ships, especially the ship from 6988 Alpha Centauri Outpost. In fact, if you look at most of my large scale ships, you would notice a certain resemblance to this ship. Todays offering, my first MOC of 2025, perhaps inspired by the new Blacktron Renegade set, is an upscaling of the Alpha Centauri ship.
I've been wanting to do an upscaled version of the cockpit using those larger 10x10 domes. IT turned out pretty good, I would say.
This is sunset on Tuesday, Dec 3, 2024, at Cherry Creek State Park, Colorado Parks and Wildlife I took this with my iPhone 16 Pro, which is always handy. Nearby, I waited over an hour for a Northern harrier to show up and hunt, with $20,000+ of equipment around my neck and shoulder. Walking back to my car, I saw this. Rather than change the lens on my camera, I just raised my phone and took this.
I DID process the Color and Contrast in my iPhone and I Sharpened and Upscaled it with Topaz AI, so it's not straight out of the iPhone. (Funny, then I downscaled it for FB, using Flickr).
BTW, iPhones have built in adjustment software, where you can easily raise Contrast, adjust the colors and straighten the horizon if not level. You can also crop. Anyway, just a tiny bit of adjustment will make your phone images pop much better than straight out of the phone.
Thank you, Oceanway School For The Arts (actually, Oceanway Junior High School, Oceanway, FL), where I first studied photography. in "Graphic Arts" class. REALLY! Go Bears!

A new art installation has positively transformed a downtown street corner. Eye-catching sculptures went up Thursday outside Sunwest Silver at Lomas and Fourth, right across from the courthouses. They are modeled after the Transformers characters, Optimus Prime and Grimlock.
We made a quick stop to take a look at these fabulous pieces of art.
Dear friend, here are 5 things you should know:
1. Like it or not, we are ALL sinners: As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous—not even one. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.” (Romans 3:10-12 NLT)
2. The punishment for sin is death: When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. (Romans 5:12 NLT)
3. Jesus is our only hope: But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. (Romans 5:8 NLT) For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23 NLT)
4. SALVATION is by GRACE through FAITH in JESUS: God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. (Ephesians 2:8-10 NLT)
5. Accept Jesus and receive eternal life: If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9 NLT) But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. (John 1:12 NLT) And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life. (1 John 5:11-12 NLT)
Read the Bible for yourself. Allow the Lord to speak to you through his Word. YOUR ETERNITY IS AT STAKE!
Sincerely,
Someone who cares about you

As we afols know very well the proportions of the LEGO minifigures are not conform to those of a human's body. Based on different characters, I was trying to adjust the proportions
to our human body.
If you ever been to Disney's Grand Floridian then you know how beautiful of a place it really is. While it's way out of my price range, I still like to go and walk around and take photos. Here's another shot that I have never taken before but I really like how the doors lead you into the photo itself. It just adds a little uniqueness to the shot. Have a magical day!

I was just published in Upscale Living Magazine and it was pretty cool. A lot of my favorites, including this one, didn't make it in so I wanted to share them with the world. The entire set is over on Facebook if you wanted to take a look!
Also, I want to meet new people. Check me out on Twitter: @CassKris or Instagram: CassidyKristiansen. You won't regret it (too much).
Rock Raiders Badger Mole
Here is my tribute to one of my favorite Lego themes growing up. I've always been a fan of massive 6 wheeled vehicles like the M-Tron Deep Core Magnetizer and thought that the Rock Raiders needed their juggernaut of a mining vehicle equipped with two huge drills, a massive laser (an upscale of the og laser from the sets), and defensive gun turrets to ward off dangerous rock monsters. The huge sloped turbines were upscaled from the original 2x3 Dark Turquoise Rock Raider slopes. It has a crew of 6 (two rear gunners, two drill operators, a laser turret controller, and driver).
Things don't always go as planned... Originally I wanted to show off a render of this in a cool lit cave using Cinema 4D as I usually do and show the process in another episode of Digitally Assembled. But no matter how powerful a machine one might have (and I truly do thanks to Puget Systems that is superior to any other machine I've ever used) there comes a point when you hit a wall with software capability. At 13,091 parts it is hard on its own in Bricklink Studio, but when exported/converted to fbx to be brought into Cinema 4D that equates to literal millions upon millions of polygons to the point where things are nearly unworkable.
All this to say- I want to do a proper render of this some day, but for now this is what I'll share until I can crack that formula for massive builds in C4D.
If you are a Rock Raiders fan, let me know what you think and please do share!
Special thanks to Simon Liu and Peter Carmichael for the helpful feedback while designing this.
A Upscale Creation on Deep Dream from Nightcafe AI
The seed comes from Nightcafe where I tried every way possible to achieve a scene where all the weird characters of late are assembled. This is weird enough, I thought, so I let it stand and upscaled it on Deep Dream.
The prompt on Nightcafe was this (Note it doesn't work on DeepDream as well as on Nightcafe, where I evolved it several times from Flux and Lightning models):
The frantic Ayahuasca Rabbit and Alice diving into the Wonderland hole where they meet the Chicken Monster and his cousin, the Chibi-eating monster cavorting with their Sesame Steet friends from Jim Henson - A Surreal Fantasy Painting by the Mystic Otto Rapp under the Influence of funny bone extract with ayahuasca, inspired by Ernst Fuchs, H.R. Giger and Beksinski, oil paint on canvas, detailed strokes, psychedelic collage, cryptid taxidermy in Bogomils Universe, imperial colors
AI created in SDXL 1.0 mode on ClipDrop.
I use this for testing my prompts. Sometimes also to use the results as seed images on Nightcafe.
This particular image enhanced and upscaled in Photoshop
