This addition to the modified 1x2 Plate family features hollow studs on top and a 3.18 bar centered on the underside, allowing for offsets and inversions in one compact package. Originally this came from a struggle to narrow a microscale ship down to a single stud width without compromising on the structural integrity.

A new art installation has positively transformed a downtown street corner. Eye-catching sculptures went up Thursday outside Sunwest Silver at Lomas and Fourth, right across from the courthouses. They are modeled after the Transformers characters, Optimus Prime and Grimlock.
We made a quick stop to take a look at these fabulous pieces of art.
As we afols know very well the proportions of the LEGO minifigures are not conform to those of a human's body. Based on different characters, I was trying to adjust the proportions
to our human body.

If you ever been to Disney's Grand Floridian then you know how beautiful of a place it really is. While it's way out of my price range, I still like to go and walk around and take photos. Here's another shot that I have never taken before but I really like how the doors lead you into the photo itself. It just adds a little uniqueness to the shot. Have a magical day!
I really do have a liking for remaking Blacktron ships, especially the ship from 6988 Alpha Centauri Outpost. In fact, if you look at most of my large scale ships, you would notice a certain resemblance to this ship. Todays offering, my first MOC of 2025, perhaps inspired by the new Blacktron Renegade set, is an upscaling of the Alpha Centauri ship.
I've been wanting to do an upscaled version of the cockpit using those larger 10x10 domes. IT turned out pretty good, I would say.

Nice Kitty - This was a nice looking Cougar that appeared at the 2021 Basehor-Linwood High School Car Show held in Basehor Kansas
The Mercury Cougar was introduced in 1967 giving the company a contender in the pony car field, a segment created by sibling model Mustang. Mid-year, the Cougar gained an upscale XR-7 model that was essentially a trim package offering the same drivetrain options as the basic model. Positioned between the Ford Mustang and the Ford Thunderbird, the Cougar came with a wide range of engine options that ranged from the 289 CID two-barrel V8 with 200 horsepower to a 390 four-barrel V8 with 335 horsepower.
The 1967 Cougar went on sale on September 30, 1966, and was based on the 1967 refreshed first-generation Mustang but with a 3-inch longer wheelbase and new sheet metal. In the front was a full-width divided grille with hidden headlamps and vertical bars. A similar treatment hid the taillights with vertically slatted grillwork.
Motor Trend magazine named the Mercury Cougar it's 'Car of the Year' award winner in 1967, and for the following year, designers wanted to create something even more special. Already a step above the Mustang in regards to comfort and styling, engineers decided to install the potent 427 CID FE V8 into the engine bay, resulting in the Cougar GT-E. Ford used the 427 side-oiler engines to homologate its NASCAR racing program, and the GT-E represented the end of an era, as it was the final Ford product sold with the 427, and the only Ford product sold with it in 1968. The GT-E package was priced at $1,300 and was among the most radical performance packages ever offered in a pony car. Additional features included C-6 Merc-O-Matic transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, FR70x14 wide oval radial tires, AM radio, décor interior group, and styled steel wheels. There were blacked out front headlamp cover and special front trim, blacked-out taillight bezels, special extruded aluminum body side moldings, 3.50 standard axle radio with nodular 9-inch rear end, super competition handling package, engine dress-up package, 7.0 Litre/GT-E body emblems and two-tone paint scheme.
A total of 394 examples of the GT-E Cougars were built including 115 standard models and 279 XR-7s, with 357 of them equipped with the 427 'side-oiler.'
The base 1968 engine was the 302 CID (4.9-liter) two-barrel V8 offering 210 horsepower along with a further three new engines on the options list including the 302 CID four-barrel V8 with 230 horsepower, the 428 CID with 335 horsepower and the 390 horsepower 427 CID.

Imagine being a kid living on a farm back in medieval times. What do you do for fun when all your chores are done? Well Leif and Sven use their favourite farm animals to have epic races around the farm, pretending to be in a colosseum like the old man Julius keeps talking about. But who’s the fastest? Sven and his goat or Leif and his pig?
Together with Dr. Church, we built these for the collaborative category of Brickscalibur - The Crazy Goat-Cart race. We have a goat, we have carts, and because Dan is hooked on motorizing everything, we have a crazy up-scaled size that can even race for real! Check out the video for a little sample of the cart actually driving.
This has been quite the ride! Or race? Thanks to Dan for designing the motor assembly and for coming up with this crazy idea. I’ve had a lot of fun! The most challenging part for me (aside from getting it to actually drive on my not very suitable for the task floors), was designing the pig. When I started out my collection of medium nougat consisted of maybe 10 different types of parts, including plates, tiles and bricks. Needless to say, my collection of medium nougat has grown a lot since then… Getting the head shaped especially was really challenging, but I am really pleased with the result!

When I am doing some upscale shopping I like to dress the part. It's important to look classy to the ladies working in the stores and blending in with the other fashionable women shoppers. A moderate length hounds tooth skirt fits the bill for this type of shopping, and oh yeah, a happy big smile helps too !
