"Upper TNA Painterly" A single file was edited in Aurora HDR 2019; then a "Jack's Try Again" preset of mine was added in Topaz Studio. This was followed with Profile play, ending up with Artistic 01 in ACR. Normally when I do a painterly version, I just add a touch of the painterly look. However, for this one, I wanted it to be full bore painterly; so a Topaz Studio, Simplify, BuzSim preset was applied at 100%. (As I mentioned in a prior comment to someone, using Profiles and LUTs have given me the personal voice that I have been seeking. This is a really big deal for me.)

The campanile was built by Decimus Burton in the 1840's. It is 32.42m (107ft) high and was originally designed as a water tower and chimney for the Palm House to which it is connected by a tunnel. However, it was not very successful and two chimneys had to be fitted within the Palm House until a new boiler house was built close to the Campanile which then resumed its original purpose
It is a stock brick tower in the form of an Italian Romanesque campanile to house water tanks and provide a chimney for the Palm House, with which it was connected by subterranean flues. Yellow brick with red dressings. Square, tapering, with arcades upon tall vertical pilasters. Octagonal upper stage. Built by Grissell in 1847 for £988.
Upper Bearwallow Falls in Gorgest State Park can only be seen from a distance. The trail doesn't get that close to them and if you try to get to them via your own trail, you would have to make your way through a very thick laurel thicket. I chose to just stay at the overlook.

The Lyric Theatre was built in 1914, as a Vaudeville theatre. It has been vacant since the 1970's. Fund-raising is currently underway for for extensive renovation.

It was fascinating to see the inside of this grand old vaudeville house.....It's fallen into terrible shape, but it's being cleaned up, with hopes to restore it. Looking at the sad, old Lyric, and then touring the grand Alabama Theatre, it's exciting to think that the Lyric could be restored just as beautifully!
