I believe this is called upper bracebridge falls, in the town of Bracebridge, Ontario.
First look as we climbed down a stairway from the parking area. This area seemed to have a lot of utility development. Perhaps generation of electricity? Maybe some of my Canadian friends could help me out here.

It was built by Louis IX in 1248 to house Christ's crown of thorns, which has been moved to Notre-Dame treasury. It was currently undergoing a restoration of the great Rose Window. Located on the Île de la Cité in the fourth arrondissement. Paris, France.

War memorial at St James United Church. The first name on the Upper Musquodoboit memorial is Augustus Benvie. Twenty-one-year-old Benvie was one of the men of Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI) obliterated by intensive enemy shelling in the battle for Mount Sorrel, 4 June 1916. Benvie's body was not recovered; he is one 55,000 British Army soldiers without a known grave who are remembered on the Menin Gate, Ypres.
